I bought her book "The Life-changing Magic Of Tidying Up" last year and I've been wanting to start my house for some time.

And that is really cool about the turtles. You can watch out to see the babies hatch?

 

I’m looking out there now and she did a great job covering the hole. I will google to see how long from laying the eggs to hatching, that process takes.

It did made me wonder which turtle breeds on UK coast

I'm not sure, but i promise it will only happen once!
But now im still curious of course. Somehow i assumed north sea coast

 

I wish we had turtles! I'm on the most southerly tip of the land.

 

This is one of those "If you haven't used it in 6 months, throw it away" deals isn't it...

 

No; it's one of those if you don't love it or want to carry it forward in life get rid of it things.

 

I saw this elderly lady at the park today. She was sitting alone on a bench on a hill with her dog. And for some reason she just made me so sad and kicked my existential angst into high gear lol, she had me meditating on how lonely and disconnected we are all from each other. I just felt like her loneliness was palpable. Maybe she wasnt lonely at all and was just coming to the park to be alone and get away from her family for a while, who knows...but thats what I felt at that moment.

So the next thing I know my boyfriend and son are walking up to her and engaged her in conversation which was really sweet, it made my heart jump up in my throat a little.

Then as she gets up and starts making her way to her car 3 different people stop and chat with her along the way. As we're leaving she was still standing there chatting with a couple and looking like she was having a grand ol' time

Thats my random story for the day..one of those small moments that somehow seems profound..like I needed a sign that we are all connected and do care about each other and someone gave me my sign

 

Sounds Like A Solution To Unwanted Human Relationships.....

Just recieved a fun Facebook chat. Half of my pool team crew are headed to our venue on Wednesday for practice. I'm itching to get out of the house and play some pool! So I'm very excited. I was meant to go away for the weekend this weekend but I knew my back wouldn't survive the few hrs drive which has frustrated me greatly.

This makes up for it.

 

Everyone is going on about football and I'm just all snug watching The Sharks/Lightning game

 

I am picturing her going home and telling her cat...."this is why I dont let you out, all those annoying people kept talking to me and asking me questions. You are lucky I keep you in here and safe from all of that."
