how do you get you spoils back from a'dam to the US?

i would think there would be problems mailing it back form amsterdam wouldnt there? would mailing it from germany work?

 

I went this past november and a friend I was with mailed some back in a coffee can full of coffee. It showed up just fine about 2 weeks later, I was pissed that I didnt send any when it showed up, but I just didnt want to take the risk.

 

Don't the authorities kill you if they catch you with weed in the good ol' US of A?...no way I'd risk importing it.....cannabis is the most dangerous lethal drug on Earth according to some American politicians...you'd get a lighter sentance bringing in raw plutonium.

You can get weed and shit like that in the US. Why risk mailing it over? Besides, even if it's cheaper in A'dam, by the time you pay for overseas shipping, you'll probably spend more than if you were to buy it here. Sure, you might not get the White Widow, but you can still find some decent stuff here. Well, maybe not in the George W state, but up in the NW, there's some decent smoke.

Absinthe is another story, since it's not readily available in North America. I'm saving up a bit of money to have someone ship some over to me. Considering how much mail I get here for previous residents, I'll probably just have her write down a false name and send it to me via UPS. That way, if they flip me shit, then I can play dumb. I doubt they would give her any grief since it's a legal product in her country. That and the customs official informed me that they don't stress so much over that as they do weed. Go figure.

 

Hello everyone! Was wondering if anyone plan on going to queens day at the end of April. Does anybody have any suggestions on areas to stay in or away from. I visit Amsterdam almost every year but never on queens day weekend. I'm also renting a houseboat about 5 minutes walk from the central station with 2 lady friends of mine. Maybe a J.Giels type houseparty on a boat is required.!!! Would like to meet some fellow cool travelers in Amsterdam before heading to Stuttgart for the spring beer festival.
