busted

i just got busted by my mom.

good news: i only had about 2 bowls worth left in my stash, and she didn't get my pipe

bad news: she thinks i'm a drug adict and lost all trust for me

 

woah dude that really sucks, I remember when i was that age and he thought I was a drug addict, but then I called him on his use, I found a tape in our tape recorder of him and his cousin talking about how they smoked, dealed, adn shit like that, so now I am just sitting hear with my birthday present, an 1/8th of fine nugent

 

Confront all of her issues and address them like an intelligent adult. Show her she can trust you and you are being responsible.

 

the sad thing is, when i try to have an intelligent conversation w/ her about ANYTHING she tells me to shut up and turns up the tv. she never listens to what i have to say, and to she thinks that i'm "too young to have an opinion."

i have showed her i'm responsible, and that she can trust me. but she still views me as a child, and doesn't trust me at all. she doesn't think i'm capable of making important decisions that have to do w/ my life, which i make every day.

 

im not a fan of bragging but my parents know i smoke its ok if i do it outside

 

he might have meant that i use it responsibly, and don't over use it. but i may be wrong.

 

Don't ignore it and act like it never happened. Talk to her and try to slowly gain back her trust. I don't know her personality, but for the normal mom just give her a day or two to calm down.

Oh, and hide your stash better!

 

i hid it really well. it's just that she somehow opened the door w/ out me hearing and saw me putting it back. she didn't find my actual stash jar, she just found the altoids tin i put my weed in if i take it somewhere to blaze w/ friends and what not.

well i just printed out some stuff for my mom to read, hopefully she'll realize how wrong she is about weed. but if not, o well, i gave it my best.

who cares if your mom trusts you

 

show her the info you printed(be sure and get eh scientifically proven stuff and the sources where u pulled it, my mom shoots my arguments down if i dont have credible sources to show her where i got my info) show it to her and if she is still not budging then ask her what she plans to do about it, be sure to see if your going to be tested and how often and what not, keep being responsible in other things besides your weed use and eventually you can go back to toking.

 

i just got caught like 2 hours ago when I came home from school. I dont really care that I did it just sucks because my mom got my fucking glass piece, I still got my metal one though so it aint that bad. This is like my 8th time getting caught so it aint that big of a deal

 

Unfortuneately, some parents never grow up. Alot of parents should do courses to bring up children. Ok. Just forget the incident until she is ready to talk, which is maybe never. Don't take it personally that she finds the tv more attractive, just be yourself. At least it wasn't porno.

It sounds like your Mum can't cope with her life as it is, which believe me alot of people can't.

 

my mum knows i smoke, but i live with my dad and my stepmum and they dont know. i'd like to tell them so i dont have to lie all the time, but i dont if they'd just prefer not to know
