The Donald Trump Score Card

I have a feeling Trump will be losing some of his base this tax season. My sister and her husband are (were) Trump supporters and she said they're only getting 1/4 of what they usually get on their tax return because her husband lost a lot of deductions for business related expenses. So now she's taken to calling Trump "that fucker."

 

Why is supporters thought he was on their side is what I don't understand. They got duped by a con man.

 

I started my career in federal service more than 50 years ago. With in a few months all of us newbies spent a day in ethics and conflict of interest training. I remember the charge “you must avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest” and “your salary is yours, you have no business seeking other monetary gain from your position”.
Every day we see another person in the administration exposed for violating the most obvious of ethics mandates...including the President. What a shameful disgrace. There is no excuse.

 

Personally I was disappointed that we didn't get a complete tax reform as opposed to tax cut. The greatest problem is we have a system in which at least 50% of Americans have no skin in the game at all could care less what happens to those who do pay in taxes and are tax collectors rather than taxpayers. The EIC portion and all other breaks should be eliminated while excluding everyone under 16k and lowering the personal rate to 10 %. ALL corporations should be taxed at 15% regardless meaning an end to cronyism , interest and dividend income should be tax free for it is the backbone of capital creation. The present system does nothing but pit the poor against the wealthy and vice versa , has created a multibillion dollar business out of tax preparation and the legal community surrounding it and alienates the citizenry from their government.
At the end of the day everyone simply signs a card verifying their last years income and it's sources and/or filling in any omissions. No such thing as a refund for any body at anytime. Taxes simplified , taxes lowered, revenues increased H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt bankrupt and we all live happily ever after.

 

I am thankful that the CIA and FBI do not have a political stance. It seems that to get promoted there you need to have an objective view of what America is versus a right or left wing view of what it is. This is a problem for Trump since they do not fall into his cult. He can have all the low ranking military where you sign up at 18. He can't have their boss.

Fumy that when he thinks they will arrest his opposition they are great when the shoe is on the other foot he and his cronies are victims. Donny using the police to attack your rivals is what dictators do. They say an attack on them is an attack on the honor of the country. I notice he always does that too. How dare you question me! I am America! Sure thing orange.

I am sure some "deep state" talks are happening in the CIA right now. They know this man is dangerous. Yet they also know it's dangerous to kill him. Their goal is peace in America not NRA members bombing malls since someone was impeached. So maybe orange has a "heart attack" one day. They say the CIA has done that before.

 

I think Mike Pence is a Klansman. I can see his political thinking is exactly what the KKK wants. Others from Indiana like Todd Young and Jim Banks are Muslim haters just like him. Indiana is where I live, and I see daily and hear daily how these backwater Klansmen act. They want a state government to ensure wealth for their White Germanic kind and deny all government services to poor minorities.

 

The poor have been paying for everything. The Rich have been using creative accounting methods to get around taxes. The rich make millions and hide them in overseas accounts, in violation of our law. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is right. We need to tax the rich at least 70% and double their old Alternative Minimum Tax. We need to increase the EIC, SNAP, WIC, Winter Heat Assistance, Food Bank subsidies, health care for indigent and homeless people, subsidies to homeless shelters, and put tax evaders in prison.

 

In 20 months there will be a lot less Republicans in the Senate. The Blue Wave is moving in that direction.

Big Sheldon Handlsohn or Mendolsohn who donated $100,000,000.00 to Trump and offered to pay $500,000,000.00 for the moving of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, is now contributing $500,000.00 for Trump's legal defense fund. I'm thinking Bob Muller should be looking into this matter. No one man with big bucks should be allowed to buy the services of the President of this nation. Mueller should look and see if any other Republicans got such cash from that Israeli citizen.

Meaningful tax reform repairs all past injustices by closing all loopholes and eliminating the poor from tax roles altogether. It scapegoats no one, leaves no room for the blame game and creates one playing field for all, nothing can possibly be fairer than this.

 

A scenario the republicans fear. Trump, and Pence leave office. Pelosi becomes prez, and appoints Hillary as veep. Pelosi resigns, and Hillary becomes prez. I saw this on the internet, so it must be true.

 

I can go along with that. I like the idea of a fair playing field. A young man or woman who graduate from school and start their life with a modest and honest job should have a fair chance at life. When bizillionaires get depreciation and investment credit for yachts, and depletion deductions for oil wells, they get away without paying their share of taxes. When the bizillionaires hide their money in Dubai or some Island Kingdom in the Indian ocean they are tax cheats and should be prosecuted.

 

It really is funny, Republicans are afraid of anything that has a vagina!

 

Isn't that very much akin to when you said " you disagree with Obama because he's black " ? When we rely on the old favorite crutches of sexism or racism as a justification for argument we reduce ourselves to the pettiness of attempting arouse popular support based on race ,sex or defining characteristics in hopes that the philosophical arguments may soon be papered over and forgotten within the ensuing furor of allegations that one is or is not racist or sexist.

 

I don't remember what context where I said anything "akin" or likened. I don't rely on favorite crutches. I have lived in America for decades and have a complete understanding of bigotry, having been on the receiving end of it. I now live in Indiana where hate is dished out on a daily basis by members of the Republican Party. Indiana's government is full of Trump supporting bigots and Klansmen who d want a wall to keep Mexicans out. Mike Pence and Todd Young hate Muslims even more than Trump. At least Trump is willing to dance with Saudi men and take their money.

 

But that was obviously not true. That we want a wall to keep out illegals is not in dispute. Still not following your logic.

 

The White Nationalist Administration of Trump has just issued two public statements. The first was from Mike Pence where he said the time to act is now, concerning Venezuela. The second was from John Bolton who said he wants to privatize Venezuela's oil. The people of Venezuela need to place a telephone call to Iraq so they could understand what to expect. The Americans will likely destroy their safe water treatment plants, destroy their electric generating plants, destroy their bridges and roads, destroy their farms and food sources including any baby milk factories, kill their people in the streets, raid their homes, confiscate their oil, force them to accept American Genetic Patenting Laws, and torture their men in an old prison like the one at Abu Ghraib. The people of Venezuela need to understand the Americans are torturers, murderers, and oil thieves.
