Hippie, was a state of mind, a trend nearly. Like punk and other. It's part of culture,as is rap and w/e it can't go away.
Well I think that's the 60's;when being a hippy was cool and where it flourished. But the whole 'hippy', sort of introspective philosophy is far from gone. well thats what i think and I'm also stoned
as its mainly been a fashion in the 60's etc, the ones that are around today are NOT fashionable at all. because of that, the numbers probably haven't diminished - the ones who were serious then are serious now. the ones who are hippies at all now, are serious now. i think that makes sense...
I don't really like the term hippie. I don't think there is much around. You don't hear of 17yr olds running to California with nothing on their backs and sleeping in Golden Gate Park with some beatniks they met on the way. But I do believe there is many people who believe in caring for the Earth, love the music, and the rest of the values. It's just not as evident these days. Ironically, considering now is when it is most at need.
that settles it, we need to make sure of a load of gatherings. each country or continent have a gathering, and make a huge thing of it on the same day. there's no way it wouldn't be on the news! hundreds of hippies in each continent flocking to one focused point. IT MUST BE DONE!
