Id like to find possibly find a community in need of a skilled builder,mech...ect.

Im in a wonderful seting with great people at the moment working on a great project but soon it will be done and I see nothing in the furture on a equal level to keep me going and this is a hold over location, not a community so my future here is limited.

Yes I have my own goals and dreams but thier still a bit in the future and this is why im looking for some type of two sided commitment that serves me as well as others

I have references in the hippie world as well as non and also pics of current and past projects.

I am posting this as im a do-er and not a dreamer and get tired of writing emails with the responses like "well if the universe is for it"or come visit and see if folks talk to you" the rainbow world is great as well as karma and all that goes with it, but if folks are trying to build a community, a bunch of hippies makin chants and waiting for a sign dont do it, dont get it, ive seen it first hand.

Hard work determination and skill is what gets things done and built, if you build it they will come but id not bet the farm you wont find a bunch of
universal karma seekers showing up and doing a top notch job.

But I do, alot can be done with one helper, more so with two and so on.

Yes I beleive in the universe and all the spirit world but folks have been couning on god to come down and do this and that and its still not happened so this great crusade of hippies showing up and designing and building a communtity....ahhh what ya think.

I work, I work hard, at times for food, times for ass, times for cash....its all open...

Please contact me at the6peace8keeper@yahoo.com for kicks and we can go from thier.....and have a great day.

Sounds like you would be wanted in all the communities starting here on this forum.
If what we are doing here in the finger lakes appeals to you (http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2917) by all means set up a visit so that you can see whether the people the land and the concepts manifesting speak to you.

Many to choose from just right here in this forum

    Blessings along your Way

Thats cool, im in no rush to do anything, thats the best part of what im doing now,its so great but nothing lasts forever but I also know the need to plan as far ahead as one can see.

Im lucky enough to have time on my side for a change and im not sure if im meant to do anything different. Options are always a good thing and thats the reason for my post. Please send the info at your leasure....

so you've got a couple of options with rabbit and old wolf. also check out willpower's project in maine. and we also have another forum where we are developing community building projects.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newworldrisingforum/. i agree on the work perspective. i'm a countercultural type person but i'm also a construction worker with 25 years experience and know that generally hippys are not the best workers since they tend to like to smoke a lot of herb and talk rather than get dirty and sweaty and work hard. i try to integrate the vision with the work to really create it. peace nwrfred

Since the worker issue has been brought up I will refer to a question I asked a net hippie friend of mine and it was just about like this.

My question was "Why is it so hard to find so called hippies with good work ethics?"

His reply was that americans in general do not like to work, and I must agree. But I bet the standard hippie unemp. rate is way higher than the mainstream.

Dont get me wrong, I know a few hard ass working hippies, but thier a bit odd. So maybe thier work area part of the old noggin is still in tack...I hope no one takes this too seriously.

But it is a question to think about?

I think the thing is folks who's dreams take on more liberal design are more likely to pursue goals that would have them officially fall under "unemployed".
For example once Im up in maine officially you could say I'd be unemployed yet lord knows Ill be busy, keeping up crops, creating and expanding the orchard, carring for livestock, and building community cob structures. Yet perhaps many hippies can't find a goal that would match there ideals, as such opurtunities for a creative lifestyle without assimilating to the corporate whore can be difficult. Then again there are those that are straight up motivationless potheads, though there are those proactive motivated and inspired potheads too.

    Overall though good question!
