i've known about this band for a while but neevr took the time to check them out. i recently heard their new song the widow and i must say, i like it A LOT. my question is if their older stuff is as good this or similar sounding.

Ya, The Mars Volta is real, real nice. They're supposed to be at Bonnaroo if you can get there. Right now I'm listening to the last song on their new album Frances The Mute. Its 32 minutes long and has different movements within it.
