Subways pretty much all I go for for fast food too.

Probably depends where... San Francisco would probably be good, Kentucky, no. They like fried chicken. [IMG]

Slash and burn croping doesn't work very well on a small scale either, but fortunatly, its being fased out.

Thanks largely to the work of a great man...

in fact I'd say the greatest man who's ever lived, American agronomist, and nobel laureate

    Dr.Norman Borlaug.

Do vegetarian fast food restaurants exist? Seems that someone should have come up with the idea by now...

I live in the Midwest and I KNOW there aren't any around here...

I have Super Size Me on DVD and I will never eat McDonalds again. Its amazing how much low grade products they use. Even if you get a salad it has 500 calories with the dressing-thats more than a Big Mac. Give me Subway and day. Wendy's is also good-plus they stay open to atleast 1:00.

McDonalds is destroying our future-OUR CHILDREN. Why do you think they are pretty much the only fast food joint with a playground anymore. Plus, what do you think Ronald McDonald is for???

I don't think McDonalds can be blamed for children being big fat asses.....all they do is sell food, its up to parents to monitor what their kids eat.

There are several vegetarian regular restaurants here...I guess this is the midwest, or mid east, or great lakes region.

Maybe if parents would have their kids play some soccer, instead of Mario soccer on their nintendo, we wouldn't have a problem.

But no, they don't want their kids to get hurt...

And then they blame it on one chain of fast food restaurants.

How about making your kids a sandwhich or something... jesus.

mcdonalds destroying our future? that's total bullshit. it's the parents who drive their kids to the fucking restaraunt. who cares if they advertise for kids. it's still mom and dad who make the decisions and teach their kids how to eat.

Oh I know of REGULAR veggie restaurants, but what about those veggies that are always on the go (i.e. ME), who don't have time to go to a sit-down restaurant?

    Hmmmm....*wheels spinning in head*

Sounds like a good idea... just don't have any talking veggies advertise it... that sounds annoying as hell. [IMG]

You know what the MOST annoying food advertisment commercial is? The Quizno's commercials...with the singing gerbil-looking thingies. I literally have to turn the television channel because I want to choke those little stuffed critters (and their mouths don't even move!!!). Know which one I'm talking about?

i don't mind mcdonalds. it's convenient when it's a hassle to cook and the food is tasty and edible.

Yeah. McDonald's knows that. That's why they put their food (food?) in school cafeterias to circumvent the desires of the parents. It's also an indoctrination into the fast junk food world. What could be better?

But hey, who cares. All of the rest of us are paying for this type of behavior with outrageous health care costs, and it's going to continue to get worse as the younger crowd keeps getting indoctrinated into an unhealthy lifestyle for the sake of fast food places making a higher profit.

If schools weren't enough, McDonald's also has an effort to get into the cafeterias at hospitals. Now you can be right there at the hospital when you have your heart attack from all their grease-laden food.

I'd eat it if there was no other options for survival, for example at gun point or when starving. Seriously, it's edible but I say no thanks!
