I am 35 weeks pregnant (8 months and 3 weeks) and my stomach has dropped dramatically I could go into labor at any time. I was just wondering how far along everyone was when they started un packing all the baby stuff. I am unpacking everything today just to get prepared for when Aiden is born. Thanx a bunch ~Fallen Fairy~
i had my stuff out, including labour bags etc at 35 weeks, thats because i had an early labour scare and had to go to the hospital and be poked and prodded, and had nothing packed at all, so after that i got prepared quickly, as i didnt know if it would happen again, lol. i guess id say have you things bought by 32 weeks and out at 37? i think thats what ill do next time.
I never felt like packing the bag... isn't that weird? The night I went into labor with Noah I had finally packed the bag and went to bed(I hadn't had any signs of labor yet). I woke up 6 hours later in full blown labor and had him within a hr-1/2 hr. When I was pregnant with Croix I never packed the bag and only packed it the night they told me I was to be induced. For some reason I knew he wouldn't be coming any day now... I knew that would have to happen. as for preparing...I just put things away the minute I got them. I'd often pull the little clothes out of the drawers though and picture a beautiful little baby in them. When we'd go buy something new I'd just wheel it in the room or just take it right up and put it away. I had so much fun playing with the things and arranging them just right. I started buying stuff for Croix at 7 months and Noah at probably 5 months. It was exciting to buy double stuff then because my oldest son would only be turning a year when his brother was born so I had that fun all again the second pregnancy.
I am 37 weeks and have everything about ready. I started at 32 weeks and am slowly getting it done. I have the labor bag packed for 2wks now. I can say that I am less motivated nowthen when I was 2wks ago. I really just wanna go to bed. If you have the energy and time do it now, you may feel like me in a couple of weeks. good luck!
