Drug paradise and den of despair.
Place to go to forget you care-
About all the things that are going wrong.
Like a weekend-long rap slash country song.

This place is not like anywhere else in the city.
It sucks sometimes, but it's not always shitty.
Some of these experiences I'll never forget.
Even when I'm so old all i can do is just sit.

We're our own world out here, it's a little surreal.
Looking around I don't understand how I feel.
A mixture of pride that leads me to take part in it,
Along with some guilty longing to put a stop to it.

Sometimes I feel like I owe this place more.
Something inside says to even the score.
But what can I say, even in the best kind of way,
To convince some kids that act like I did in my day?
