Yeah I'm interested in the detail too. I'll try and find it again. The Wikipedia for "losing streak" specifies "once ability is controlled for". I'll look for the article I read before later. Or one that says the same things. Or even one that says the opposite thing. But now.. walk.

I basically need to win minimum 5 in my last 7 games, hope to hell 4th place has bad luck. Might be over already. I can count 4 frames I've totally given away here this morning. Very upset with myself.

Now I bank on top 3 to keep winning, except against me and 4th to flop big time lol.

 

Sigh.

I just sank myself, another game I should have won and gave 2 fouls away. Every. Fucking time! So annoyed right now. I need 2 wins to beat my best trials effort though. So that's what I'm going for. So far 6.5hrs in.

 

Lol and that sums up my morning. Going for an easy snooker. There's a gap which is almost improbable of making. Come off top rail and I pick that exact improbably gap.. Didn't hit a ball. Foul. Lose.

Can't do anything but laugh at that. Even my opponent said that was by far the worst luck he's seen all morning.

So I'm done. I'm out just gotta play for pride now. 2 more wins = my best trials performance ever, 1 win ties that performance. 2 guys to go I think.. No.. 3... So I have a chance for a personal best. I'll take pride in that if I i do. 7.5hrs now.

I missed out by two games.
Well that hurt.. Ffs if I just played as well as I did in the tournament a month ago I'd have easy got through I can count games I threw away completely on two hands.

Well at least there's summer comp in month or so. I'll just gear up and get ready for that.

How do you gear up for that? Just more practice or you learn new stuff?

Are you trying to balance this with the iRacing thing or just focusing on pool?

I went to a new-to-me Goodwill Thrift Store yesterday and bought a few holiday items to re-sell in my Etsy store this Autumn.

I also bought a nicely framed and matted print of an old Woody Wagon at the beach. I think I'll put it over the little dinette set that I got for my birthday.

My son's family gave me a little cash for my birthday that I'll likely spend at another thrift store tomorrow while hubby is in the doctor.

I'm doing laundry today and really am quite stranded until my bras get dry hanging in front of the fan. Somehow the busy week left all my bras dirty with no spares.

We've got some garden work to do but I'm not sure if hubby is taking a day off from that or not.
