My argument is that many leave supporters don’t seem to have given their Brexit views that much though (if any) instead they have just accepting the leave propaganda without question.

That such people, like yourself and Mal, are basically ill-informed and easily lead pawns in a game they don’t understand.

I disagree with the things people say that seem to be flawed, uniformed, irrational and unreasonable are you saying that you would just accept such things without question?

And if people disagree with what I say they can explain why, if they have criticisms I will address them, the problem I’ve found so often with leavers if that they refuse to address the criticisms levelled at their ideas.

To quote FDR

The point I’ve been making is that leaver supporters don’t seem to have educated themselves about leaving and so don’t seem able to defend their ideas from criticism, and they also don't seem willing to be educated.

I think it insulting to come to a discussion forum make statements and then refuse to enter into discussion of them. If you don’t want your ideas questioned or criticised don’t post.

If you had read my posts you would already know what criticisms I’ve raised (sometime more than once) so I think you need to read the thread.

So you know Mal, that's fine, can you ask him to address the fucking criticism rather than sending in his acquaintances to give him a character reference.

Yes, Balbus says a lot, too much at times , about the people disagreeing with him on this matter, but obviously not because he has a problem with people disagreeing with him. But because its easy to refute their arguments/explanations (if they actually give them. Most of the time he's just trying to make them explain themselves in the first place )

 

I bring no references for anyone but nor should you be acting like May! Sorry but this is important, it is going to hurt the country myself and above all my child.

It seems to me that the reasons why people want to inflict this harm on others is important especially since talking to many leavers, they actually seem ill-informed on the issues and just parrot [misleading or false] leaver propaganda.

 

This is a worthless attitude in a discussion. If you don't wanna join in that's fine. If you do you have to explain your reasons why you stand as you do on the subject.
It's actually an important reason why Mally got treated this way: He repeats he finds it all bollocks or a bunch of circle jerking and leaves it at that. Unfortunate and lame. Yes, he's entitled to it but in return his convo partners are entitled to trigger a better response. See what i mean?

I'll take my own advice and admit I may have read this line wrong at first instance:

Its good you have your own reasons for having the conviction that you have, but what are those reasons?

I read it at first as 'i have my own reasons for believing as i do and don't have to share them if i don't wanna', which is not what you said, or (i hope) ment.

Of course if your reasons for wanting the UK to leave, even without a deal, are bad, dubious or ill informed its less good you base it on that. This is the exact reason why exit voters are asked repeatedly why and how they see that as the best option. We really wanna know (perhaps we can even be persuaded? )!

I think most exiters in the UK wont admit why they want to leave is because we are brain washed into believing if we say it, we are racist, because we are not sure how to put it.
People arriving in the UK, are treated well, with money, housing, and benefits that far out grow our people that have put into the system get back. That's not the peoples fault, that's our bad benefit system, but no one is happy about it.
Our NHS is busting, people are dieing because the NHS can no longer afford medicines for sick children, old people are starving, youngsters living on the streets. And why are young families going to food banks? Because their benefits are cut so thin because the government cant cope.
A woman called Katie Hopkins who I like told the truth.. the government were encouraging people to come to this country, but they got it wrong, they come, claim for families that are not even here! But claim money, buy cheap run down houses and rent them out, that right..
So my reason to exit, we need to get back control of our borders, Europe wont allow us, and the strain is too big.
