I know... that's because I'll be trying to talk to a single person at one time without it ringing and if I have another window minimized it'll start nudging/ringing a lot and I'll be multitasking/recording... I don't block people because I don't want to talk to them or anything... I'll just be busy and have to block a few people temporarily so it doesn't ring all the time. I could turn off the ring/alerts, though, but I often get up a lot without noticing and I'll just stare out the window randomly at any time... "aaaah... beautiful skyyyyyyy *RING* oh shit! I forgot" and it'll start ringing.
