no the best way to do it is to slice of the skin then cut it off the stone in slices rather than cutting it in half. Its rooted pretty hard on the stone and very gooy, no way you'll pull it off the stone, so just cut slices and if you love mango like i do suck the stone after
haha that would work http://www.cafe-express.com/www/html/ITKArchive2/tvkitchenmango.htm i usually cut my mangos similar to the "cube a mango" method on this link. you have to use your sculpter's eye to visualize where the pit is, and then cut around it. the first time i ate a mango, i didnt know what i was doing and i ate some of the skin. i dont reccomend that approach! LOL
