My favorite rain song

 

"sing in in the rain" from some movie back in the 1930s, (fred astair and ginger rogers)?
anyway that was the first song about rain i ever heard,
my mom seemed to like that movie on black and white tv late show early 50s,
when i was, well from the time i was born i think.

 

I don't listen to this when it's raining but the refrain? Of this song is probably my favorite use of A lyric involving rain. He drops to a lower note on "down" when he says "Rain Down" and goes to a higher note when he says "height"
