    Spot on!
    But you know what NA.
There is just a little bit of me that does not want him to succeed, because if he does that is going to stuff The Brexit Party.
At the moment The Brexit Party are ahead in the national polls if there were a general election now.
That will change if Johnson succeeds.
But if he doesn't the poo will hit the fan, and The Brexit Party will surge on and anything could happen
O.K. so they need to start getting their act together in respect of general policy, and when they do.
    Nigel Farage for Prime Minister?
    Not so far fetched.

    Remember.
You heard it here first! :grinning:

    PS.
It is nice to be having a good discussion with some who are reasonable and sensible.
Rather than with a robot who continually asks loads of interrogating and annoying useless questions!

How dare you change my actual words to something very different and offensive to me as per Boozercruiser said.
    I did NOT say that!
Please correct that as I believe you to be totally out of order, and if you do not then I will report your post to Admin.
    Please yourself.
If you are going to use a quote of either me or anyone else, then I believe you should use ONLY THE ACTUAL WORDS the person says.
And NOT a distortion of them!

    What I ACTUALLY SAID was:

    Yes i realised that Meliai.
It says so in his avatar
Yes I did realise that Melia.
I know he is supposed to be a super moderator as it says so in his Avatar.
    Mind you.
I haven't noticed much moderation from him in this thread, seeing as he has such a high standing and should of course be setting an example.
If I have to click report the post then I don't know who it will actually go to.
    BUT.
I expect something to be done about it.

Drift can twist my words all he likes as far as I am concerned.
Just DO NOT quote them as if I SAID IT.
    When I DID NOT!

I think the EU and Project Fear have a lot to answer for as well.

Calm down it's just a joke.
Anyone can see what your actual words were by going to your post from my (mis)quote
And can tell that I have changed it by the blatant use of winking face and "fixed"
I will never do it again : )

Misguided nationalism has a long history of breeding fear and isolation. Brexit is a “gift” that will keep on giving to the people of the UK. The very real economic costs have already started including the devaluation of the pound. Wait until the people of Belfast have to pay for passport control to visit the Republic and economic investment drys up. Why do you think the Russians have been so gleeful over Brexit?

Thank you for the explanation Drift, and on a count of that I forgive you!

I could of course see that you were just joking really, but put as a quote of mine I got my hair off.
So that’s us best pals again.

    Cheers.

You already need a passport even to fly from England to Scotland as well as Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland

Prove it, while I should point out that several times you have claimed to have addressed criticism but then are unable to actually produce any evidence that you have.

    Londonstan

I heard that ‘joke’ first from an openly racist white supremacist – he said he called London that because it was full of ‘pakis’ - like Pakistan.

As pointed out the EU has no control over immigration from Pakistan that is purely a UK matter.

What do you mean what ‘British culture’ what are you talking about and in what way has it changed?

Then why us racist tropes like Londonstan?

But that’s something bigots often say - some of my best friends are XXXX

I’ve had homophobes talk about their gay nephew and a racist talk about their sister’s husband who’s Asian

BUT AGAIN – what has that to do with the EU?

How many times do we have to repeat that’s because of right wing policies that incidentally you seem to support.

Because of right wing policies that you seem to support

Because of right wing policies that you seem to support

All because of right wing policies that you seem to support

All Because of right wing policies that you seem to support

The country got into debt because it helped prop up the country after the financial crash and them those that caused it refused to pay up and instead the right that you seem to support pushed austerity on to the country.

Austerity is the cause of the crisis in the NHS, housing, social services, the benefit system, in schools in infrastructure and people have to go to food banks (and so on)

But the right tells you it’s not them its migrants and you fall for the con.

Calling a political opponent a traitor can be viewed as being not a very veiled threat I mean the traditional sentence for a traitor is death, so it basically saying ‘if it was in my power I’d have you killed’ and that is the reason it has been given for many a political assassination.

It has to be remembered that Thomas Mair who murdered Jo Cox MP because of her remainer views gave his name in court as “death to traitors, freedom for Britain”

Now I’m not saying the that all people that talk of treason and of traitors is that kind of psychopath but such sentiments don’t bode well for the future political stability of the UK.

    Londonstan Part two

Well first if you are talking of Asians (as the racist trope Londonstan seems to indicate) and the mention of Lewisham which has a high Asian and black population - that has nothing to do with the EU, so this is a side question

Most of the brown and black people living in the UK are not migrants they are British citizens, they are British – but if you see them as the problem what are you going to do with them, they are already here?

It’s not the EU it’s not migrants - it is the right wing

Right wing neoliberalism is the reason for most of the problems common people face today

The crisis in the NHS, housing, the social services, the benefit system, in schools, in infrastructure, the people have to go to food banks and many more are the fault of right wing neoliberal policies.

Many people say - I’m in pain who is to blame

Well the right wing neoliberals don’t want to be blame for what they have done so they find scapegoats

Migrants, the EU, Migrants, the EU, Migrants, the EU, Migrants, the EU, shout the right wing politicians

Migrants, the EU, Migrants, the EU, Migrants, the EU, Migrants, the EU, scream the right wing media

Why do people fall for this right wing political propaganda?

(I believe in one year the front page headlined for the Daily Express, was migration theme on 179 occasions, and the Daily Mail, just following with 122 times, and I’ve already covered the anti-EU bias of these papers)

    Please take my advice Balbus.
I am no longer reading anything you say in this thread now as I am not prepared to be interrogated.
So all I have to say to the above is you best save your time doing that, and go pester someone who gives a poo about what you have to say here.

No offence meant of course, but I call a spade a spade if you know what I mean.

    Cheers.
