The House committee quietly racking up oversight wins against Trump The House Foreign Affairs Committee's bipartisan, low-profile oversight of the Trump administration has secured a handful of victories. By ANDREW DESIDERIO 06/17/2019 02:20 PM EDT The House committee quietly racking up oversight wins against Trump excerpt: "The House Foreign Affairs Committee is quietly amassing documents on allegations of politically motivated retaliation at the State Department; it’s looking into whether Trump has violated foreign emoluments and conflict of interest rules; and lawmakers are working to find out more about the president's relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and how he leads American foreign policy behind the scenes — all without the fanfare associated with the other committees’ work. The panel has secured wins on a number of fronts, and aides and lawmakers alike attribute that to the under-the-radar support they’re getting from Republicans, many of whom have grown exasperated with the president’s decisions on foreign policy and national security issues. It’s also a historically bipartisan committee that boasts a strong relationship between the top Democrat and Republican on the panel. “People are concerned to know the relationship between Putin and Trump,” Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) said in an interview. “We’re working our way there.”"
In the next administration here's the task at hand, break the stranglehold that the nations 15 largest banks have on the economy. It's unconscionable that this list currently holds 13 Trillion in assets. This kind of power must be broken up and freedom returned to the American people. The list: In Trillions 1. J P Morgan Chase - 2.74 2. Bank of America - 2.38 3. Citigroup - 1.96 4. Wells Fargo & Co. - 1.89 In Billions 5. Goldman Sachs Group. Inc. 925.3 6. Morgan Stanley - 875.9 7. US Bancorp - 475.7 8. PNC Financial Services Group. Inc. - 392.8 9. T D Group US Holdings LLC - 384.04 10. Capital One Financial Corp. - 373.1 11. Bank of New York Mellon Corp. - 346.1 12. Charles Schwab Corp. - 282.8 13. State Street Corp. - 228.3 14. BB&T Corp - 227.6 15. Suntrust Banks Inc. - 220.4 A few years ago we heard the phrase " too big to fail " . If this is really true then they're too big to continue as they are.
Bullshit, there are now an estimated 1,700 international conglomerates that basically run the world economy, and chopping up US banks into nice easy to digest pieces would inspire the Pentagon to declare martial law. Its empire baby, and any pretense of free markets is being dumped in the toilet. The Pentagon rules the world now, but you can write your congressmen all the letters you want and keep voting for whoever advertises the most. Donald Duck is an inspiration to generals everywhere, that its good to be king if the mindless mob is running the country.
I submit they need breaking up as does Google , Apple, Microsoft, AT&T , Verizon and many, many more and yes I'm well aware of the large group of multinationals that run the world. We are but many aren't , in fact most aren't. BTW AT&T was busted up back in 1984 and then the US Government under every administration since has allowed it to rebuild itself anew.
The problem is the entire world economy is already falling apart at the seams, with 25% of the economy depending on fossil fuel exports that are usually the only real source of income for entire countries, and oligopolies running everything. The US is in a mad power grab to consolidate everything as fast as possible before the crap hits the fan. Fuck the international conglomerates, the entire world economy is about to be decided by computers which are increasingly running everything and doing everything. China's entire electronics assembly line is being automated, while the green house effect has twenty years tops before things get out of control. Within 50 years, without completely changing everything, people will start to starve by the billions. China loaned the US all the money they did after the economic collapse, knowing damned well money won't be able to buy them food forever.
Japan requests proof of Iran involvement in tanker attack By Elizabeth Shim June 16, 2019 / 12:39 PM Japan requests proof of Iran involvement in tanker attack excerpt: "The statements from Pompeo are "not convincing," a Japanese government source said Sunday, according to Kyodo News. Last week Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe tried to mediate U.S.-Iran relations during a summit with supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The attacks took place while Abe and the Japanese delegation were still in Iran. Following Pompeo's assessment of the attacks, Japan, through multiple diplomatic channels, said the evaluation "has no backing" and that there was no way to conclude Iran was behind the attacks. Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono also made the same statement during a phone call with Pompeo on Saturday, according to Kyodo."
Read "Japanese Banks" want to know what the fuck is going on, because they make ships among other things, and transport cargo that has to be insured. The US and Iran can spout all the smack they want, but the US is not the only fucking people in the world with satellites in orbit that can diagnose skin cancer.
Trump is expected to officially announce his candidacy for the 2020 Presidential election at Amway Center in Orlando at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18. Trumps approval rating in Orlando Fla is 29%, but Orlando still makes sense according to Stephen Colbert because his policies are goofy and his base is snow white…lol…
Trump vows mass immigration arrests, removals of ‘millions of illegal aliens’ starting next week By Nick Miroff and Maria Sacchetti June 17 at 11:57 PM https://www.washingtonpost.com/immi...ory.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.abee7170c57f excerpt: "President Trump said in a tweet Monday night that U.S. immigration agents are planning to make mass arrests starting “next week,” an apparent reference to a plan in preparation for months that aims to round up thousands of migrant parents and children in a blitz operation across major U.S. cities. “Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States,” Trump wrote, referring to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. “They will be removed as fast as they come in.”"
He is rattling his saber, attempting to stir up his base of voters to wakefulness, so he can point the finger of blame at the opposition painting him into the fucking corner, and claim he is being railroaded.
It's time for Trump to round up $50 actors to astroturf his 2020 campaign like he did for 2016. Donald Trump Campaign Offered Actors $50 to Cheer for Him at Presidential Announcement by Aaron Couch , Emmet McDermott 2:53 PM PDT 6/17/2015 Donald Trump Campaign Offered Actors $50 to Cheer for Him at Presidential Announcement excerpt: "Questions as to whether the Trump campaign had hired extras were first raised Wednesday by anti-Trump activist Angelo Carusone, who came across an Instagram photo showing a man he recognized as a background actor posing at the Trump event. Carusone screengrabbed the photo of the actor, Domenico Del Giacco, and published it in a blog post. The photo shows Del Giacco with a woman, identified in the now-deleted Instagram post as actress Courtney Klotz. (Del Giacco has since deleted his entire Instagram account.)"
MeAgain And then he will have to put them somewhere for processing - let’s just call them concentration camps and…. Just a minute why does that remind me of something….
Donald Duck has already worn out his welcome in LaLa Land, and there are no new volunteers to be his cannon fodder, while $50.oo includes a free Libertarian lunch.
