When watching both movies there is a black club getting attacked in los Angeles did it really happen

 

i've never even heard of either movie, but i bet google would know the answer.

 

I tried and nothing came up

i would take that as a sign that the attacks were not based on any actual incident.

 

the movie said it was based on true events and someone I text just said los.angeles.was sold back in the 1980,a and he is from there so everything that happened back then did not always.make front news certain things you have to dig for

 

every movie says that. fucking batman probably claimed to be based on true events.

when i googled it yesterday i remember the wikipedia article said that it was based on actual street gangs, but it didn't mention anything about an actual nightclub incident.

There was a speaker at multicultural week last year or before who knew Edward James Olmos from American Me. He was in something... I don't remember what movie it was. But he lost it while he was speaking. People got pissed because he came out against transgender in Hollywood or something like that. Before I knew it I was walking out on his event with a hundred people from the audience.

I barely remember "Blood in Blood Out", and not "American Me".
