Well, I can't like that post because that makes me want to cry. My God.

What in the world are you (or anybody) supposed to do? Around here (in SC) there are actually people that are certified to take in fawn (such as your's). They have taken classes and whatnot...and are on a list. I don't know about where you live...if there are people that are all flipped out about animals and making sure they are safe, secure, etc; but there are actually a number of people around here (in SC) that are. lol I mean to the point of craziness almost.

I may be in that number.

 

I have actually just posted a rather "stern" (or some may say mean or ugly) comment on someone's thread (on fb) that was all about declawing their cats and someone was asking for her advice. Before I knew what I was doing, I was typing out how many places (outside of the extremely backwards USA) it is now illegal, and it is even fixing to be illegal in NY. Of course that is not where I left it.

I have had a number of "discussions" (arguments) with the old friend many of you have heard me speak of - LuAnn, regarding this. She has declawed every cat she ever had, and OF COURSE there was bound to be a tragedy when one of the cats got out and was killed because it had no way to defend itself. While she smokes like a stinking chimney, she claims to be so meticulous in her smelly house and can't abide a cat clawing her oh-so-special furniture. It is NOT special, and the sofa is older than mine. It also stinks, so who cares how it looks...is the way I see it. Even if I didn't have to look after Aunt Cousin Mama, I still wouldn't go over there, or would do so only if I HAD to because I'm so uncomfortable over there. Hell, I might touch something wrong, or somehow leave a piece of something somewhere.

As I told her, I will NEVER EVER find any furniture to be more special than the living, breathing creatures that love me that I feed in this house. (Aunt Cousin Mama doesn't count because she does not love me. ) Possible clawing of the furniture goes with the territory.

She does not have a pet now - and I have told her she does not need one since her (stinking) furniture is the most important thing in her house. (You aren't even allowed to sit or lean back on the pillows on her sofa.) I have advised that should she decide EVER on an animal, she needs to get a fish.

 

I have 6hrs sleep and feel much better. Thx for bday wishes. Hard to tell what I got up to in the morning. One those you wanna blurt it out moments but probably shouldn't lol.

Now hopefully rest my head in preps for this pool trial tomorrow.

 

On the plus side of being sick like that, I feel super thin and sexy, an ego boost I didn't need right now.

pre-ordered my my Far/Aim 2020. no point in buying 19, when 20 comes out in Aug.. Ive a lone far/aim now its 2015. Dont change much tho..

 

Yes it's available on the 2nd of august, but with my EA access pass, I am meant to get 10 free hours from the 25th July.

On the plus side I'm actually hitting the balls pretty well the early morning. I'm sure the sun glare will take effect during the trial though.
