The movie Man on the Moon was a great demonstration of non attachment. Jim Carey played a comedian who had many faces and personalities but was attached to none of them. For example he was into wrestling women and after each victory he would strut around the ring and brag about how great he was. The fans would boo him and call him names but it didn't upset him because he was as detached from this personality as the fans. And then when his boss told him he was going to lose his job because of his wrestling career he came on like he was really upset but once again it was only a personality playing a role. It seemed no circumstance could touch the real person. He told his girl friend that he wanted to find the real me, and she said there was no real me inside of him and he said oh right I forgot. In the end however he got attached to his audience and that attachment killed him.
