I've never even heard of a non-closed septic system. Mind is definitely closed! Its a tank that, if you have a bunch of shit and whatever, you have to have it sucked out/cleaned out. Which reminds me - I need to go put some Rid-X down the toilet downstairs, which is closest to the septic tank. All I can imagine is you are talking about someone on a "city sewer"...and it all goes to some huge depository where all the crap goes - gray water, washing machine water, stuff from the bathroom, etc. My son is on a city sewer system but he lives in another city and within the city limits. Out here in the country, we have kept a working well and the septic tank.

There was a time, we were approached (before I became owner, but I'd have chosen just what ACM chose) to "get in on the city water and sewer"...which would have cost us whatever laying the pipes (with the water and sewage system) from here to timbucktoo would have cost. AS WELL AS there would have been monthly costs for water and sewage. As it stands now, it only costs us electricity for the pump to work...and whatever I pay for Rid-X, which I need to buy and use it more often.

it's not connected to any kind of sewer, this place is off-grid.
it was explained to me how these un-closed systems work but i couldn't really describe it, except water comes out. goes off into the ditch.
there are two tanks, one going into the other, first.

 

Yes the pipes lead into the first tank where all the sewage is stored ... The second tank fills up with mostly water running through the system and that leads into weeping tile allowing it to go back into the land and into the water table... I have no ditch... I believe the bylaw is that no farming or crop can be planted within 50 yards or something of a septic runoff

 

The more water that you run through the first tank the better and helps break down the sewage in the first tank if done properly system never needs emptying

 

Well, the vegetation seems to quite enjoy the gray water. I don't know about the (closed) septic tank. I'm just glad it hasn't been but a few of us though the years...surely Rid-X, RECOMMENDED BY PLUMBERS (lol) will help, since it can't be that much stuff.

The flat end I think, I'm not sure, but is easier for them to place their logo shield. So mine will be at the bottom there. I have this weird thing where when I feather the cue forward and back, it rotates in my hand so I asked for a slightly more pronounced flat end. This way I can feel it in my palm and have great control in keeping it in the same position... well that's the aim.

thanks everyone! shes keeping me on my toes, finally got to sit down and look at the computer. i suspect i wont be around much until she chills out with the cluster feeding.

oh, and i had super-fun nightmares followed by an emotional breakdown (said storm has been looming for a long time, i kind of expected it, but damn.) so they sent me home on zoloft. so now i have that to get used to. my brother is on it, so it will likely work for me too. its time. a dam can only hold back so much.

I am slightly slower than the top 3 in qualifying, but I am considering going out on my Q run now. I should be able to slot into 4th place. Still 2/3 of the field needs to qualify but I would expect possibly a top 10 out of it.
My dilemma is, are people waiting for hopefully someone to leak a fast Q setup and then I'll get burned? On the other hand, if I do a 38.74 like I did just now, I'll easily make the race on time.

I'm not sure what the orange means, I think it means they wrecked in Q then paid money to retry.

2nd & 3rd are my team mates, so I'll be around that time.
