Today my Fiance And I took a drive out to Red Boiling Springs Tn about an hour and a half from were I live in sparta. Now every Sunday while most people are going to church me and my fiance go out to breakfast, take a drive through the country and smoke a J or two. But today was different!!! Out of the clear blue we decided to keep driving on the road we were on and see were it takes us. We end up in Red Boiling Springs down on a man named Jeff Poppens farm were there is this beautiful creek and the water was so clear and there were deer and all kinds of peaceful vibes just floating all around us. The next thing we know a man on a tractor comes down from one of the paths on the farm and its Jeff!! So we say hello as we had met at his Summer Solstice Festival he has each year on his farm ( Awsome !!! ) by the way and we began to talk and learn about how he came to be there and what we were all about and so on then he takes us for a ride on his tractor to other parts of the farm showing us whats what and offers to smoke a J with us so not whating to be rude HA! HA! we except and the whole reason I'm tellen you guys this is because we were just driving along on the road with no idea were we were going and the day turned out to be really cool. Jeff is by far the truest Hippy I have ever met in the area I live in and it's good to know stuff like today can still just happen out of the clear blue and that there are still people out there who are open free and are not afraid to show it!!!!! Anyway I had to tell someone.................. PEACE,LOVE,FAITH
Wow... that was great. Well.. the highlight of my day... listening to music and eating onion dip and chips. W00T...
That sounds like a neat trip. My father and mother have a farm here and I help out a lot with the cows and horses. I love tripping out with the animals, they're so cool to be around. Most of the animals I know are always high.
Thats because they know where the good plants are hehehe!! I no this is a cliche but the country for me is really were its at!!! But I do like visiting the city and shopping there and they have good resturants. When you live in the country you can leave all that behind and come home to your own little place in the world ya know? I just can't feel at home with 10 other people living a foot from me and can see start through my window. Unless you live on a commune and then its ok because your choosing to live that way with people you know!!!!
I don't think I could stand to live in the city anymore. It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Here's a pic of where I live;
Sounds pretty fanastic. It's always nice to just take off and go w/o really knowing where you are going.
What is a cool trip you all have taken before? Small or Big it does'nt matter everyone you meet can have a impcat in some way!!!! I always thought that inorder to travle you had to go to a different state or country but I've learnt and am still learning that TN can be a pretty cool and really beautiful place and until I have the money to travel abroad this is good for now!!!!
