I actually don't think porn is healthy anymore.
Maybe it CAN be fine. But being aware of my own mind in relation to it..
I started to feel it negatively.
There's too much of it and the narratives of the advertising around it make me feel quite sick.
I'd watch a video and then be looking for that slightly better video all the time...
I don't know. I used to think it was fine and watched plenty.

It's also I suddenly remembered being 15 and using my imagination. Takes longer, feels healthier.

 

There's a lot of different porn. Some is clearly more prone to have unhealthy or negative side effects than other. And as usual, moderation is key.

I'm curious now what you found to be good porn and in what aspects you looked for better :-D

 

i just liked seeing bdsm stuff, because i've never found a partner who shares those interests.
there probably are better places, but for ease i used all those typical sites.. pornhub, redtube, xhamster etc.

it's just the way i'd be watching a video easily hot enough to interest me.. but the suggestions are always there with their thumbnails..

i disagree on the takes longer part. watching porn, you always want to keep going to see what the next video has to offer. using imagination, i know what turns me on at the moment and focus on that and i'm done in minutes.

 

I can't attest to the above a bit too, if I'm watching something that's just... Like it's alright and all but not my current at the time kink in comparison to a kink of mine then the time frame difference is pretty large.

Have you ever thought about the truth behind porn films.
Back in the days when I worked in the film industry and before video, they were shot on film. Among all the blockbusters processed in the laboratories, we had all the footage from the porn companies.
Checking the daily prints was hilarious.
The session started with the couple sitting on the bed and reading the bizarre suggestions of the producers, falling about laughing at every every new suggestion.
Once the action started, it took numerous attempts to complete a scene due to everything ending up in hysterical laughter. Quick cup of tea and then lets have another go. It went on like this for hours, leaving the editor with trouble cutting 10 minutes out of more than 2 hours.
Most of the actors were couples, often married and making some money to tie them over between feature films. However since their lack of work was due to lack of talent on the big screen, it often ended up as their career. Perhaps the most bizarre part of all, was that while all this was going on in the preview room. we had to keep the actors kids out of the way by letting them watch the latest blockbusters being edited.and dubbed.
Sitting there with the actors, editors and the producer (who was in the same professional position, but still smoked a big cigar) was surreal at times.
I often thought that shown in their entirety, these films could win an Oscar. for best comedy.
If you ever want to see a film of the reality of the porn industry in the background, watch Mona Lisa, starring Bob Hoskins. I worked with Bob on a few films and what sent the audience into fits of laughter in the cinema watching Mona Lisa, was entirely based on the reality of porn life in London that we both saw all day. The film was set in the clubs, rather than the film production.

Yeah, that's one good aspect of the social internet... There are videos out there made by real couples. Often lots of those I don't like though. If I find a couple who seem genuinely in love and also into the things I like.. That's best.

But I am no longer interested in spending the time searching.

Definitely couldn't be into "old fashioned" porn films.

 

People always want what they believe they can't have, you only have to see what happens when a book is banned, suddenly it becomes a best seller, it's just human nature, not an addiction, I mean after all, who doesn't like sex, and who doesn't want as much as they can get, no matter if it's on line or for real.
