wtf keeps happening to my bookmarks?

I use firefox... this has happened before, and it just happened ago, apparently... i had many, many favorite sites bookmarked, and now there is none in the bookmark folder.... what's goin' on?

 

does it ever have a little popup window about a new firefox user profile?

 

what's with that little popup window anyways? i've been getting it recenty and it freezes up firefox altogether. i have to reboot to get it to work again.

No on the popup and no on the backup...

I'm using the latest version. Last time this happened, it was on the beta version.

 

that little popup window means firefox didn't close quite right

say "no" or cancel, give the 3 finger salute ctrl+alt+del and end any firefox running.

then try running firefox.

 

i got that once, it happend when i installed the adblock plugin. wiped all my bookmarks away
