I came out of a concert, I couldn't find my car and walked through this huge parking lot for over an hour looking for it before I finally found my car. A lot of walking.
when I take hikes with my friends it can well go on all day long. The last good one took the most part of a day and long hours of mountain paths, some earthy other covered with rock spall. To add variety crossed an abandoned bridge that looked no younger than 500 years (long one with no railing, one meter wide over a 100 ft ravine, good look with vertigo).
I dont know how far but for summer I was barefoot 2 weeks in victoria. City, suburbs, parks, hikes and ferry. Dont need shoes at all far? xD
I don't know how far I could walk barefoot, but after I day of barefoot hiking I never tought that it was enough. I'm a barefooter for three decades now, so my soles are quite tough.
Longest recorded hike I took it was about 18 Km, along with two shod friends in the woods on steadily mountainous terrain. I spent a week on the Alps in the woods during summer and there were also a few other barefooters there, we were roaming the woods all day long for wood and herbs.
It's good to walk barefoot for longer distances. It toughens the soles and trains the muscles of the feet. I like the feelings of a long barefoot hike.
