I wished we had a viable third party or two but just doesn't fit into our current system of voting. I remember the Ross Perot run for President making it a 3 party race. Didn't work.

It was originally called the White House, and you could walk right up to it and ask for a cup of tea, but now it has ten foot thick steal reinforced concrete walls, bullet proof glass, and its own subway station and cars.

 

It’s apparent that Trump and the Republicans want to move America back to the 1890’s. The “golden age”. A look at history is in order:

In the 1890’s, contaminated meat and food was common with the resulting illness. The USDA’s inspection service was created, but now there’s a proposal to turn the inspections over to the meat packers. What could possibly go wrong?

....industrial and mining accidents took a huge toll, black lung disease, asbestos caused cancers, shingle makers all were missing digits. OSHA anyone.

....I remember the brown dome of nitrogen poluutants over every major city and live threatening smog over LA. Ttump is trying to scrap auto emission rules for CA and many other states.

....I remember pictures of the Cuyahoga river on fire, red boy and yellow boy in the rivers of W VA. Trump is castrating the EPA. Or Love Canal.

....Big business used public lands as personal property, but they belong to all of us. The administration wants to roll back all of the safeguards, some dating back to Teddy Roosevelt for public lands.

...People of color were disenfranchised and segregation was the law many places

What on earth is going on in the minds of the dudes and dudettes wearing MAGA hats? Their very lives and their children’s lives are at stake. Do they pass out some kind of koolaide at rallys or is the level ignorance and inhumanity that high? This nation owes a really big apology to Germans for judging their behaviors in the 1930s. Not only can it happen here, it IS happening here.

saw a report, a couple of weeks ago, that describes trump supporters. This reporter says the environment outside the venue is like a tailgate party. People are there to party, and drink. Even once they get inside, they don't pay attention to what trump says. They are just there to cheer, and be seen.

 

It's not a big secret that Vanilla Gorilla loves royalty. I don't know what to say about that. Maybe that's fun to watch from Down Under, but it sure as heck ain't the same as living in a country where you could become President.

We don't like royalty around these here parts, but royalty's what we've got. Some ass makes a bunch of bumbling decisions between outings to the finest dining money can afford, golf trips, trips to luxurious resorts... Being President is like winning the fucking lottery. You make a bunch of really asinine decisions that you don't give a fucking shit about and the entire time you're doing this you're being treated like a fucking King.

Oh, poor me, I'm the President! I have to look out for all these people! Oh fuck, on my schedule is a trip to Dubai. I'll have to eat ten thousand dollar plates of food again. Oh shucks. I'll have to stay in a luxurious mansion. Oh darn it.

We're not all as self-obsessed as Donald Trump. It doesn't work for us to see life in terms of "winning" based upon "success" as measured by "how much luxury you're treated to."

Who is really entitled to that kind of adulation? Why were we put in this situation where one man governs the country?

Once again it is all too apparent, that democrats have sold their constituents down the river, rather than man-up and face down the fucking KKK which has systematically been destroying their government and repeatedly destroying the entire economy, for over twenty years.

Fuck all this bullshit about attempting to make sense out of the crap that comes out of Donald Duck or any Libertarian's mouth. Politeness is for people who actually have a democracy.
