i would love to live some place that was 70 degrees farinhight year round.
unfortunately so would too many other people for me to be able to afford to.
(as is the case of the one place like that i know of, which is the san francisco bay area)

short of that, any place densely forested with relatively short and mild summers.
preferably not in a city though, if there were any way i could live outside of one without having to indenture myself to a car.

By 2100, all of us will be dead. So why think about it? For your future grand sons or daughters?

You started this thread, of which I basically agree with you, yet you're asking me why think about it?
    eh?

All we can do is try to live as happy as possible while we're still able. Life is ram packed full of terrible things, even ever since our planet was nuked with asteroids for over a billion years that eventually formed the building blocks for an environmental atmosphere for our planet to start sustaining life in our waters. If our species does die out, hopefully in a few million years the next intelligent earthling species will somehow be able to learn from what we did wrong.

Until then, all we can do is have hope and "party on" because lets face it, its what we've been doing since forever - surviving however we can, just like all of life has ever done.

As the saying goes: "improvise, adapt and overcome" ...life depends on it. Or you can just sulk about it!
