The FBI's information is there. If you want to focus on semantics and one example I guess you don't accept the facts. The FBI has complied it all for me. Often victims in crime don't have their names public unless it's a national story. Not sure what your angle is.

You are projecting yourself. Not all of as are asses. I care for other people and it's really not an issue if people are gay or they want a parade.

 

Most of the people I used to hang with were all kinds of weird about guys being gay. They were fine with chicks being lesbian as far as I could tell. A bit of a double standard if you ask me.

But, and I am serious when I say this, in the timeframe since pulse nightclub and now, there have been around 150 women in my country killed by their partners, maybe a thousand in yours ( thats not a dig at america, you just have 13 times the population)

I don't think it does. As for the domestic violence angle, that's a very different situation. Hate crimes against LGBTQs, women and African-Americans are crimes directed at people because of their phenotype inclusion in broad social categories. Thus, when somebody attacks someone else because of their perceived inclusion in that given category, they are attacking not just an individual but a large class of individuals, which becomes a particular problem for society. When a person attacks his or her domestic partner, that's a problem for sure, and the cause of most fatalities on the part of intervening police offices. But its a problem that is a very individual matter, too random and idiosyncratic to control by effective legislation. Your argument is similar to the one put forward by the anti-gun control lobby: more people are killed in automobile accidents than in mass shootings. True, but so what? Make cars safer? Been there, done that! Mass murder is a crime posing a distinctive threat to the social order, and punishable as such. So is anti-gay or racial or gender violence.
