    I love this song...
I dunno..when I listen to it, I just picture a serene little cabin in the woods with people sitting around the campfire, one with a guitar and everyone singing along.
    Haha.. :)

Yeah... you can't beat Roger McGuinn's 1964 Rickenbacker 370/12 for electric 12 strings... and of course, David Crosby played Gibson and Gretsch 12 strings. He still plays one of the Gibson 12 strings with CSN(Y). :D

Btw, The Times They Are A Changin' is another one of my favorite dylans.... :D Those are my top two, I believe. I like a lot of his things. I'm a big folkie/granola eater. lmao. :D James Taylor does a nice cover, but I still like Dylan's original.

Classic song, one of favourites for chilling out. Yes it is about drugs, the tambourine man being the dealer and the song being drugs I belive. There are also a few drug references in the verses. Its a beautiful song either way.

Finally a Dylan thread. Dylan=God. Anyway, tambourine man is a real cool song, from the earliest version ive heard it (bootleg vol. 6 1964) all the way to his crazy ass rendition of it in "live at budokan" (1978ish). There should b a bob dylan thread or some thing cuz he has soo many songs, cds, and tours that i would ove to talk about with other dylan fans. hahahahahahahahah mr tambourine man just came on, on my playlist on my comp.

Heh, Quinn The Eskimo is all about drugs. I recorded a cover of like... all of these dylan songs. :D I've been meaning to put an album on CD Baby, but I haven't managed. Laziness and too much guitar playing, lmao.

in terms of visual picture, it makes me think of 2 homeless guys in a dirty street for some reason. i have no idea why.

in terms of other thinking, it makes me think... simple as that... awesome song.
