Just got a heads up on the Hookahlist from lizm concerning some changes to www.ekoostik.com. Also two new developements concerning Hookahvilles. Next spring and fall hookahvilles will be held on Saturday & Sunday of Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends, respectively. They're also offering Season HV passes for 100 $ + a small fee, which will get you into both ville's and if bought early enough will give you admission to their 4th of July show at the ranch. Happy Hookah, Robby
Hookah is in Denver, CO on Friday and Ft. Collins, CO on Saturday...i suggest whoever can make this show....DO IT!!!!!! Nothing beats seeing the Hookah!!
Go check out my sweetie's dyes at the Gothic. tickets through nipp.com through thursday, at box office Friday.
I would really like Hookah, but for some reason they don't show up for shows in North Carolina. Hookah has BAILED on their last two North Carolina shows. My friends had even "called before they hauled" and the equipment was there, although the band didn't see fit to show up. The sad thing is, they were "no shows" for two consecutive shows, at the very same venue... A lot of pissed off NC Hookah fans have sworn them off... Sorry to rain on the parade, but until Hookah comes back and plays a free show, they aren't liked very much in North Carolina right now...At least not in my circle... And my circle had a lot of big Hookah fans...
Yeah that must have been an incredible bummer. I had a friend whose husband flew her down there for her birthday for that show, they had a hotel for the weekend and everything. I can only imagine her disappointment, and the disappointment of all the fans down there. You know they broke down, tried to rent a vehicle and were unsuccessful right? Not an excuse but it's not like they blew NC off. I hope they do come do a free show.

Excellent... Free? I'm being awful rude here...But people have driven to Charlotte TWICE IN A ROW and Hookah hasn't shown...With the cost of gas these days, Hippies aren't so likely to drive for an act that historically hasn't shown up... That's so NOT cool... I'm being a sourpuss for all the Hookah fans, but truth should be more important than "beauty."
Tarhead and everyone else - the NC show IS free!! January 27th at Amos' Southend in Charlotte NC is FREEEEEEE (indeed, to make up for them not making the last gig(s)) Tarhead, if you see this will you please e-mail me at ohliza@gmail.com and/or check your private messages on this board? Liz
Man, I'm glad I made plans that did not involve Ekoostik Hookah... No offense, lizm, because you are a kind-hearted sweetie... But for the THIRD STRAIGHT time, Ekoostik Hookah failed to show... So the make-up show, for the make-up show for the show that was originally cancelled (late 2003?), was cancelled itself... Van troubles? That's weak... Since that is the THIRD time in a row that something has prevented Ekoostik playing...
Hey, any of you hookah fans out there seen where the band is playing this spring — Tree Hugger's Ball and Nelson Ledges. Hoooookaaaaaaaa. Should be a blast.
