So the iracing League I help manage...

Someone just asked who to run ovals with and our name got dropped. feels good reading "sign up with these guys, they know what they're doing".

Really the guy asking questions is I can see going to be a horrible, horrible racer. They tend to be horrible when they ask so many questions. A driver drives. Don't ask just do. so now I have buddy that keeps messaging me lol. His name is Gretch. Random name.

 

So... anyways.

The continuing saga of my Orange amps "wall of DOOM"...

I've been looking for an Orange top cabinet in black tolex, (tolex=covering) either "used" or "open box/customer return" in mint condition.(top cabinets have the top two speakers angled up, so they don't remove your head at obscene volume levels) Knowing full well that finding one doesn't happen because Orange top cabs in black are "special order" and nobody takes returns on "special order" stuff.

Used might happen but no private party is going to box and ship one of these so if one showed up for sale it would be local pickup only.

A few weeks ago I found a listing for exactly that... Orange PPC412A, Black Tolex, Mint "customer return" listed by a reputable online music store. $600 off retail price (nobody pays retail unless you go to Guitar Center) or $300 off normal online pricing... plus free shipping.

So today it shows up... Shipped in it's original packaging, that has never been opened. They had to ship me a new one. (Because "used/returned" doesn't exist) I hope whoever posted that listing didn't get in too much trouble...



So... I have an Orange full stack in orange tolex and an Orange full stack in black tolex. Black side has the Orange "Dual Dark 100" amp and the Orange "Rockerverb 100" goes on the orange side.


The "Blueman" amp bottom cabinet, "2X15 Electric" in black tolex should get here tomorrow. (2X15 = two 15 inch speakers. "Electric" is the brand name) These 2X15's are made the same size as the Electric 4X12 which is basically a copy of the Orange cabinet dimension wise.... I'm going to use a straight Orange 4X12 in orange tolex on top of the 2X15 bottom cabinet for the "Blueman GT120" in the center...

Basically three full stacks of awesome.


Getting all my black and orange stuff ready for Halloween...

Some guy just listed a UK made 2018 "Green" Matamp GT120 and matching 4X12 cabinet... with about 20 hours play time on it. He's about 4 1/2 hours drive from here... That's "local" right?

I get to pick my high security clearance from the guvment office this morning. I'm now a registered consignee able to import/export commercial goods without it having to go through customs.

I'm an importer exporter.

Not bad for someone who dwells in the derelict world of perverted websites and message boards. Some people fucken sneeze and think they won't get a clearance lol.

I could literally walk up to an airport right now and land myself a good paying job. It's a very sought after ticket, my boss laid 8000€ down for the licence and I got to apply.

So I could hide myself in a box to America and theoretically, I could pop out the other side at the destination without ever being looked at.
