ok so i started this today obviously it isnt done but im liking how its turning out so thought i would share my process, when its done(hopefully by tomorrow i'll post the final image! tell me what you think

I love that show too, I would watch it all the time. I never see it on anymore.

 

i really love it all... except for ricky's right eye... it just looks bulgy and it really pops out at me... really other than that it's awesome i love the pose you chose and their facial expressions are priceless and so happy hehe... i'm sure your mom will love it! the shading is great. how big is it?

 

oh yeah, did you use a graph for this one, or no?

 

No i didnt use the graph on this one just got the image on the internet. Yeah Rickys eye does look funky because shes smooshing it, but i do think i made it a bit too long so that makes it really pop out so im gonna work on it a bit more. its about 8x10. I think my mom will be pleased i cant wait tell i can send it off to her!

wow! thats cool to see the picture progress from sketched lines all the way to the end. U should do this more often crystal... works in progress can be just as cool looking as the final thing.

I would kill for your shading skills, like i would never be able to make a dress like that look three dimensional with all the folds in the right place and what not...

lol as i was just reading the first post i wasn't expecting it to be finished so soon, if i say im gonna finish something in a day that really means ill start it today and probably never finish

 

haha yeah i can get pretty obsessive over drawings my problem is i wont put it down tell its done, which at times can really suck because then i rush through it with no patience!! but i forced myself to put this one down overnight and for most of today then picked it back up around 3 to finish.
