Why do you keep propagating that delusional lie?

    Vote wasnt split. Result was
    Leave 51.89%
    Remain
    48.11%

There was no mention of what type of deal on the ballot paper, that wasnt part of the vote. It was just a straight out leave or remain vote.

To overturn democracy, Labour and Lib Dems have to obtain a clear majority in the upcoming election which has a snowballs chance in hell of happening

But no-one can deny that leavers voted for differing version of Brexit that were often incompatible with others, so one type of deal that would be acceptable to one or two groups would be vehemently opposed by other groups of leavers. And a leave without a deal (that wasn’t even canvassed for in the referendum) that some want is strongly opposed by many other types of leavers. Also remember that some people voted because they were bamboozled by the lies been told by the leaver leadership.

I’ve meet and heard others who say they never would have voted to leave if they had realised what it actually meant.

The big problem was that there was no mention of what type of deal people were voting for on the ballot paper and that is why we need a long delay even maybe a revoking of article 50 so that the leavers can decide what they want – then they can bring it to the table after it has been properly peer reviewed costed and given due scrutiny and then it can be presented to the country – so that people know exactly what they are voting for.

I mean think about it there are two versions of Brexit been voted for in this election the Brexit Party one and the Tory Party one with both claiming that their form of Brexit was what ALL 17 million leavers voted for.

Sure they can deny it. I just did

No mention of a deal on the ballot paper. No one voted for any type of deal

LOL you can ignore anything if you deny the facts – are you honestly saying you think that people did not have differing views on what was leave meant when they voted? That does not seem to fit with the evidence I mean even know there are differing views on what Brexit should mean.

Sorry but saying that you think all 17 million leavers had the same view as to what leaving meant just doesn’t fit in with the evidence, I’ve discussed this with many people before and after the vote and they virtually all have differing ideas. And as said I’ve meet or read or heard about others that voted because of the lies leavers were spreading and now regret voting leave.

Its irrelevant what you think they thought. You cross one of two boxes. Whichever one was crossed the most wins the referendum

A comment about Brexit by food critic Jay Rayner

“I’m not saying there wasn’t a democratic mandate for Brexit at the time. I’m just saying if I narrowly decided to order fish at a restaurant that was known for chicken, but said it was happy to offer fish, and so far I’ve been waiting three hours, and two chefs who promised to cook the fish had quit, and the third one is promising to deliver the fish in the next five minutes whether it’s cooked or not, or indeed still alive, and all the waiting staff have spent the last few hours arguing amongst themselves about whether I wanted battered cod, grilled salmon, jellied eels or dolphin kebabs, and if large parts of the restaurant appeared to be on fire but no-one was paying attention to it because they were all arguing about fish, I would quite like, just once, to be asked if I definitely still wanted the fish."

So you are not arguing that it wasn't a split vote, with different people voting for leaving but thinking it meant different things and you accept that people voted to leave because they were bamboozled into it by lies - you just demand that once they had voted they have to just accept what is given to them by the very people who lied and caused the confusion over what leave meant in the first place?

So Russian interference is true because Dom Greive said so. Right glad that’s cleared up

and also, I’m welsh and devolution in wales was won by 50.1%

people didn’t know what they voted for. Can be get rid of our devolved parliament because I don’t like it very much.

did Russia hack the Irish referendums on Eu too?

Can we reconsider the Libsin treaty also? Or was that stitch up ok because you liked the result if it?

id probably say I’ve been waiting 3 years hurry up and get me the fish I ordered

why are you describing a labour run fish restaurant anyways? (Other politically orientated fish restaurants are available)

yea. our primary (California) is in March on the 3rd. :)

I think I'm leaning toward a Sanders instead of Biden vote in the primary. I know I've been stalwart about Biden, or at least somewhat behind him. I think though that the policies that need implementing are being discussed by almost ever candidate. That said, Sanders has a lot of experience. He's cool imo.

Well if was nothing why delay the publication it was all ready to go the report makers excepted it would be it was all cleared and ready to go then boom it’s stopped, move along nothing to see here, if there was any interference from any outside agency in UK elections I’d like to know about it and how it is been done before the next election takes place.

That doesn’t work it wasn’t a leave vote as said at the time that would have not got through it was a vote to set up a Welsh Assembly so it isn’t comparable to the Brexit vote and it was very clear at the time I can’t remember any lying been involved and there was no corruption as found by the Electoral Commission in the EU leave campaign and there have been no large scale demonstration against the vote since then.

    What are you talking about?

Again do you have a clue what you are talking about? Do you mean the Lisbon Treaty?

And if it arrived green around the gills and stinking of corruption with a food expert at your table and a couple of others from another table warning you that if you eat the fish it will make you very ill or worse – do you send it back or eat it anyway?

Look above - you are completely unable to defend leaving from valid criticisms you don’t even try you just refuse to do so – and NO leaver has ever been able to defend leaving from such criticisms in any rational way – NEVER - have you ever asked yourself why that is ever wondered why your arguments are so weak they fall apart under the slightest scrutiny?

Think about it - there is a lots of money been spend to get Brexit and many wealthy people pushing for it – why do you think that is - and do you honestly believe they have the best interests of the majority of people at heart? Do the neoliberals pushing for Brexit who have spent years defunded the NHS and other public services want to help the people.

Sorry but the leavers still pushing for Brexit don’t seem to have anything – they repeat crap, snipe and sneer but they don’t have anything of any substance as to why leaving would be good for the UK.

Again I’m not sure you’ve given this much thought – everyone knew what remain meant independent of the reason for voting that way – the meaning of what was meant by leave was ambiguous as there were several versions – from very soft Brexits to a very hard Brexits – people might have had many different reasons for voting for one of those types of Brexit but that still means they were several versions of Brexit compared to only the one version of remain.

Please leavers before posting ask yourselves why you seem unable to defend Brexit against valid criticisms.

You pose it as if every leave voter voted for a hard no deal brexit just because nothing about a deal was mentioned on the ballot. But that is simply unlikely as a lot of leavers see more use in a deal than a hard brexit. A hard no deal brexit was not what they expected and voted for. You can see this in the current situation. A lot of leavers crave a deal. Why should this have been different at the time of the referendum? A good deal makes more sense than no deal.
