    It's a great song... but, I can't agree that it's the most beautiful song ever written. I like it better when sang to the music of "House Of The Rising Sun." Now, that's good music...

    well, during the coda, the slide guitar solo is done by duane allman, and the piano part was written by jim gordon. such a beautiful piece like that was written by a guy who later hacked his own mother to death with an axe, after a bad acid trip.
