I feel the need to point out something that is often overlooked. Entire cultures consume things like chai and soy related foods. To say that men who eat soy are less manly only reinforces negative and wrong stereotypes about Asian male masculinity.

And more than that you insult an entire culture, people, and culinary identity. I don't think you're being inherently racist. I think your issue is with the vegan/hippie/hipster (ironic considering the name of this place) type men. But the attitude associated with it is still incredibly racist and dismissive of multiple cultures. And I think people should be more aware of what they're saying when they say what they say.

Where to begin? In one sentence, you manage to give us three logical fallacies and some misinformation to boot. First of all, who said only Republicans are bigots? I think you did. This is the "straw person' fallacy: "giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent" . Straw Person Straw man - Wikipedia Only an uninformed or extremely partisan person would think only Republicans are bigots--an idea that's absurd on its face. That would entail the fallacy of over-generalization. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/OvergeneralizationNext there is the non sequitur following "if". Non Sequitur It would not follow that if only Republicans are bigots, there would be less inequality across the Union States than there was at the time the Civil War ended. Your statement implies that inequality in results, measured by homelessness, is a result of bigotry instead of the lingering effects of slavery. Institutional segregation by race was a southern thing, but informal segregation by neighborhood was always present in both regions, reflecting the pervasiveness of bigotry among humans. And I question the statement that there is the "same kind" of inequality in the North 155 years after the war. That would be saying the Civil Rights laws have had no effect. I'd want to see better proof of that than an article about homelessness in San Francisco.

If insisting a government must be founded on laws is racist, then all governments are racist. If all governments are racist, it explains why the white population is imploding, because they no longer represent the people. One thing you can't hide, is when you are so fucking crippled inside you can no longer even reproduce. Encourage all racists to believe they are the superior race, then tell them their numbers are imploding. Survival of the fittest idiots.

So where does this idea come from? Oh no we better not upset the minority (republicans) too much or we will never win. Really we have no opinions of our own unless we know they support then too in a way really eliminating debate. I guess "too left" is socialist tax or gun laws?

In this line of thinking why is something never too far right? Using your train of thought if the right wing would speak up on these same issues they to could have a middle ground where their rivals compromise. Meaning gun debate could be over just to name one issue. There could be some law. Now there is not and that risks a worse law that people will force on you when you piss them off. Is that not the Trump logic? You pissed us off so either get rational or we will fuck you more.

If Sanders upsets well people who are openly Nazi upset others. Each person can be seen as a threat to America so we are unwilling to deal with these people. Since we don't deal with them the goal is always to burn everything they made down. Does that sound like anything you two have spoken of?

Both of you show the typical childish attitude of the right wing. What can you do for me me me? A 4 year old never thinks of how they can help and you seem to as well. You have a burden to follow your own words don't you? You aint doing that.

You are literally helping them get votes. Whatever small victory you can find I guess but consider what your work is meant to do to customers.

If I design something for a Nazi I still helped a Nazi even if he paid me.

To remind people the politics guidlines have been updated

As often stated this is not a bulletin board it is a place to debate politics.

For that reason cut and pasted articles, links, videos, photographs and memes should be used sparingly and more as a way to highlight a persons viewpoint rather than as a replacement for a persons viewpoint.

People that post these things without relevant comment may find their posts removed.

Adam Schiff might put Trump in the same cell block with that guy. He can then kiss that guy like he kiss Rudy.

If you're unfamiliar with the reference, it was to a 1982 bestseller by Bruce Feirstein satirizing stereotypes of masculinity.

As I recall, real men don't eat quiche because it looks like someone else has already done that before them! The book was intended as satire, but from reading Six's posts, apparently some men are still into these stereotypes and are still spending their lives doing John Wayne imitations.

This may seem whimsical and off topic, but I think Six's posts that brought it up point to a deep underlying factor in the partisan divide that is seldom discussed because it involves unconscious drives. He wouldn't have brought it up if it weren't a powerful irrational motivator of political behavior.

Although I never met the Unabomber formally, I used to spend my lunch hours in the Missoula Public Library the years he was frequenting the place, drove back and forth through Lincoln Mt numerous times, and met his targeted victims at professional meetings. I believe he is real enough alright and think he would be the perfect cellmate for DT.
