Hey Tie, Guy, Mean or Geck or anyone of y'all not posting anymore: I moved 2 plants to the flower room @ 8 wks, one looked like it was going to be a male and it is. took him to the great outdoors and he's now producing good, visible pollen (a little cloud of dust drifts off when you shake the branch. I want to pollinate the female and she has very nice flowers all over. Is there a point of maturity that is optimal for pollinating her? Would enjoy y'all's opinion.b1
Seeds take from 2-14 weeks to mature from time of pollination.Give 4-5 for indica/indica dominate.Remember to cure the seeds for 45-60 days in a cool dark environment.Fresh seeds have very low if any chance at sprouting and by giving them this cure time it allows them to attain max viability.Peace
yeah i like to pollenate my indicas at 3-4 weeks 12/12. this gives meaty buds for the pollen to take to, and a good four five weeks left of bud cycle for the plant. {I Just took two of my prettiest clones outside for pollenating the day before yesterday, left them out overnight . the beauty of it all is it rained yesterday and washed off the extra pollen for me, so they went back in around noon. THEY were Both at 3 1/2 weeks 12/12, a humbolt and a kush, the father was my non hermie chocolatexhumbolt f1} like meangreen says this insures healthy viable seeds. sativas you can wait until 6 weeks 12/12 i suppose, i dont do much breeding with sativas anymore. wait until you get a load of my newest hybrid though.Im still searching for a usb cable- probly have to send away to the dang factory. I'll be sure to snap the 30 day 12/12 pics tomorrow, and fill them in here when i can upload again. I have not been posting because i have been so darned busy with this redwood deck. OH MAN DOES MY ROOM REEK. L.O.L. It should be done in a month or so and I'll have pics of the deck too.
Hey guys, right on with the info! Will follow suit. Have been busy redoing my cowpens myself, then my screwgun broke. LuMpY didn't know cows used pens he says!! Ha ha. I told him mine "browse" but I didn't say wether they do that on the internet or in the pasture. Hey Tie, you could prolly get a usb cable at any supply store, just bring the broke one with you and match the business end(s). LOL b1
hey b1 I tried the local staples, walmart, and radioshack. Then i remembered buying the camera on e-bay.I went there after posting earlier, and before long had found a plethora of USB cables made for fuji cameras like mine. so it is a Done deal, all i gotta do is send a m.o. to L.A. a.s.a.p. 13.90 for the cable after shipping .....plus a stamp to send the M.O. off. Im gonna recharge batteries while im thinking of it, I DO NOT want to miss those 30 day 12/12 shots tomorrow. I can always do the thread later. I may even use the flourex for lighting after the timer goes out, like within five minutes from lights out i'll be done and the door closed.
Sounds like you live out as far in the sticks as I do. Can't wait to see your pics. Let you smile at my sugarshack who I pollinated yesterday. b1
Hey tie, getting that redwood deck finished? I betcha it'll be looking great. Doin it at your place? Say, how do you get to put that quote showin up with each post you do, your "the increasing...." ? I looked all around the utilities on this place and can't seem to find it. b1
no I could not afford a redwood deck, let alone one that is 1340 square feet before the landings. got some pics of it today, probly have two months to go with the roof over it and the landings leading to an arched bridge. It is all time and materials- no bid just put in the time and get re-imbursed for any materials i supply. A really neat project, and a total pain in the butt at the same time. I call it the monster deck from hell. Simply because all the thinking is done by me, the owner just dreams up the concept, i gotta figure out how to make it a reality- without any plans to work from. Sort of a proving ground project if ya ask me, im finding out how much i really know about this stuff. The pictures of the deck will go into a photo album for showing prospective customers {and better homes and gardens L.O.L.} what im capable of. Thanks for askin 'bout the deck it is what i love to do most, besides grow weed and make tiedyes..L.O.L. The quote? There is a website called mellogold i clipped that from i cannot seem to find it now- here is a chapter i found online though-from clarkes mj botany. http://www.geocities.com/hempgenes/botany3b.htm
Hey tie, i think you misunderstood my question: once you got a quote you like, how do you to get it to be included with your post automatically, every time you post. Thjat's what I can't figure out. My brother-in-law does the same with metal working concepts that you do with wood: customer describes how the final has to look nad he has to figure out how to get there. He calls himself "artisan metals". He's a real artisan! Sounds like you are too! I am a farmer/rancher. Like this kinda chat! b1

sorry about that I ended up following my own link and reading clarke for quite awhile. I always get immersed in his writings. Hey yeah b1, i can do landscaping ,sprinkler systems, remodeling, new construction {houses} decks, roofs, stucco, drywall. whatever, even tile. we got a 32 foot trailer im probably going to remodel before summer is over. Thinkin about adding a jaccuzzi and all kinds of goodies. that should be interesting. that link i gave i noticed if you click on the chapter links, you can surf through the book, but the main index seemed to be down. im pretty sure his whole book is there for the reading- minus charts and graphs im sure.
