This is sad and sick, this type of behavior needs to stop. Where do these people come from. I HATE violence. I hope they find who did it and give them the punishment they deserve.

 

Hm.. isn't hate exactly that what feeds violence? It's right up there with fear.

And.. let me guess.. since you hate violence.. that punishment would be.. err.. non-violent? What would you, oh violence hater, suggest as a punishment?

 

There is nothing wrong with hateing the bad deeds that people do, as far as im concerned this person needs i nice prison sentence. I dont hate the person who did it, just the deed they did. Love what is good and hate what is bad. Violence is a very bad thing. Are you trying to say that i should like what this person has done? Scalping another person is just plain sick. People have to pay for there wrong doings.

 

Yes, they should. But people who actually scalp are rather sick than just violent imho and I think a nice psychiatric evaluation would be in place here as well. Just locking someone up won't make a big difference, treatment in combination with a jail sentence maybe will.

Indians scalped settlers all the time in the old west, and nobody ever bad mouths them. they're all 'noble savages' and the like.

 

Well.. whites killed most of the indians and nearly wiped out the bisons and we now call them 'americans'.

 

Only because calling them Norwegians wouldn't make much sense.


and theres a recent rethinking about how careful and selective the indians were in therir own bison hunting. they werent as considerate as long thought, and would've done even more damage to the beasts had the means been available.
