Barr didn't elaborate on the obstruction of justice issues raised by Mueller.

Barr recently sided with Trump after the release of the IG report by saying that he thought the evidence was too scant to initiate the Mueller investigation.

10 times Trump may have obstructed justice, according to Mueller

    excerpt:

"The report says these 10 instances can be divided into "two phases, reflecting a possible shift in the president's motives." The first phase took place before Mr. Trump fired his first FBI director, James Comey, after he had been reassured he was not personally under investigation. After Comey's dismissal and Mueller's appointment as special counsel, the report indicates, the president knew he was now under investigation for possibly obstructing justice, and switched gears.

"At that point, the president engaged in a second phase of conduct, involving public attacks on the investigation, non-public efforts to control it, and efforts both in public and private to encourage witnesses not to cooperate with the investigation," the report states."

The tariff war that Trump started with China and other countries caused a glut of soy in the market which depressed it's price. The non-dairy milk market has grown, which, in turn, has been detrimental to the U.S. dairy farmers who Trump claims he is helping.

US milk sales drop by more than $1 billion as plant-based alternatives take off
    ,
    excerpt:

"Of course, the change to non-dairy alternatives is a healthy choice, for not only consumers but also our planet. According to a study out of the University of Oxford, the greenhouse gas emissions associated with producing a glass of dairy milk is about three times more than any of the examined dairy alternatives (for the study, researchers included rice milk, soy milk, oat milk, and almond milk). Similarly, when they looked into how much land use and water use is involved, dairy milk required the most land and water as well.

The same study found that food production is responsible for nearly one-fourth of all human-produced greenhouse gas emissions, with meat and animal products responsible for the largest portion of the food-related emissions."

You talking about the ISIS exploding laptops?

That was the "classified information" that Obama and everyone already knew about

My answer got lost in the update.
So a very short, yes. Obama knew about it because he was president...oh, and he didn't tell the Russians about it...did he?

The one where he gave away information classified as "Top Secret" without consulting allies or the rest of the entire U.S. government, military, and intelligence service, per procedure, in order to boast to his Russian friends and try to impress them like some 9th grader.

The one that had Putin publicly laughing at him.

    The guy is an idiot.

    It's now $28 billion.

Trump had to scramble to find $28 billion of repurposed U.S. taxpayer money for handouts to farmers to try to mitigate the damage he did to them with his tariffs. He gullibly throught his tariff war would be easy to win. He's supposedly a genius and ahead of everyone.

The intelligent approach would have been for Trump to have Congress set aside damage control money before he started his trade war or not even start a trade war.

Trump used the same desperation approach for his vanity border wall after failing to convince Congress to fund it when Republicans controlled both houses, and he even shut down the government because of it. Via his declared 'national emergency' he is trying to use billions of repurposed U.S. taxpayer military money for his wall that he said Mexico would finance. A federal court recently ruled against the use of such repurposed money for his wall.

The repurposed money won't be there for the original appropriate recipients when they need it, and they will feel the effects.

Trump and the Republicans in Congress say that the intended money will be backfilled at a later date. It's a tactic of the White House to circumvent Congressional allocation of taxpayer money as it was originally intended for the purpose of Trump trying to fulfill a 2016 'build the wall' campaign promise for the 2020 election. It's similar to Trump's self-dealing behavior of withholding U.S. taxpayer money to Ukraine to try to find dirt on political rivals to improve his chance of winning in 2020.

Expect four additional years of Trump's underhanded, self-dealing behavior if he wins another term. After all the problems he caused himself by his behavior with Stormy Daniels and Russia that invoked the Mueller investigation, he engaged in the same conniving behavior with Ukraine.

He could become the first president who has been impeached multiple times.

trump will be impeached, but will be found innocent.
He is the type of person that will mock the trial, and commit more egregious violations of the law.
This is setting a very bad precedent.

Trump has indicated his desire for a longer trial in the Senate and turning it into a prosecution of the Democrats.

Trump may not have considered that a lengthy trial may drag into the 2020 campaign season. Senators of both parties who are up for reelection need to be concerned about being reelected.

Behind the scenes, House Democrats battle to influence Speaker Nancy Pelosi's picks for the team that will take the case to the Senate.

Inside the jockeying to prosecute Donald Trump's impeachment

    excerpt:

"One factor that might restrict Pelosi's choices: electoral politics. Some of Democrats' top recruits in the last election cycle — who took over Republican seats — are former prosecutors who now have to worry about winning re-election in districts that favored Trump in 2010. Reps. Mikie Sherrill and Conor Lamb of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, respectively, are veterans and former federal prosecutors. But the partisan limelight that accompanies an impeachment trial may not be helpful to their political careers.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., a onetime federal prosecutor who is thought by many of his colleagues to have an inside track to a spot as a manager, first won his seat in 2000 by defeating then-Rep. James Rogan, who had been a manager in the Clinton impeachment trial."

The self-dealing adventures of Trump's charity.

It's akin to his self-dealing intent with Ukraine under the guise of a crusade against general corruption..

The President Just Admitted in Court He Ran a Crooked Charity and We're All Just Gonna Shrug It Off?
Who among us has not spent $20,000 in other people's charity money on a six-foot portrait of ourselves?

Trump Admits Misusing Charity Funds for Political, Business Gain

    excerpts:

"As part of the settlement, the president paid eight charities a total of $2 million while admitting "he misused funds raised by the Donald J. Trump Foundation to promote his presidential bid and pay off business debts, the New York State attorney general said on Tuesday."

By the 2000s, the charity was largely holding other people's money, which was donated to benefit philanthropic causes. Trump used some of this money to buy a $20,000 portrait of himself.

He also used the money to buy a $12,000 signed Tim Tebow helmet, which he kept for himself."

"While Trump did give to five Iowa charities by publicly presenting giant checks that read, "Make America Great Again," the New York judge ruled that he had used this private charity, around which there are strict rules, to pump up his political campaign."

Trump mocks and bullies a teenager with Asperger's syndrome, apparently because he's jealous she is this year's Time magazine Person of the Year (and Trump isn't).

Trump mocks teen climate activist Greta Thunberg after she wins Time Person of the Year

    excerpts:

"President Donald Trump mocked teen climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter on Thursday after she was named Time magazine's Person of the Year, calling her win "ridiculous" and suggesting she take anger management classes.

"So ridiculous," Trump tweeted. "Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!"

Trump, who was Time's Person of the Year in 2016, was a finalist for the 2019 nomination."

"The president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., also weighed in on Thunberg's selection, blasting the magazine's decision.

"Time leaves out the Hong Kong Protesters fighting for their lives and freedoms to push a teen being used as a marketing gimmick," he wrote. "How dare you?""

So God also wanted Obama and Clinton to be president? Because for these same voters when those men were in office they said the Devil had sent them and man could alter the plan and remove them. So which is it? I mean if it's god you would figure he has some sort of control. They deiced to disobey god and go against his chosen man.

This is an odd thing with me and Evangelicals. All this "gods will" stuff is very sporadic. Sometimes it's there and sometimes not.

    Are Trump’s Critics Demonically Possessed?
Two of the president’s prominent evangelical supporters are literally demonizing his opponents.

    Are Trump’s Critics Demonically Possessed?

    excerpt:

"Rather, their concerns are based on their belief that Donald Trump is a deeply corrupt man in virtually every area of his life and that his corruptions have an enormous blast radius, inflicting injury upon our nation and its norms, standards of decency, and honor, and America’s civic and political culture.

Trump’s Christian critics don’t really care whether he leans more in the direction of predestination or free will; what troubles them is that he’s a pathological liar engaged in an effort to annihilate truth as a concept; a conspiracy-monger; and a misogynist and bully who dehumanizes his critics and mocks former prisoners of war, the parents of fallen soldiers, and people with disabilities. What upsets them is Trump’s open admiration for brutal dictators, including Kim Jung Un, who ranks among the worst persecutors of Christians in the world; his easy betrayal of everyone from his wives to allies like the Kurds; and his history of engaging in predatory sexual behavior. What alarms them is that we have a president who fans the flames of ethnic and racial hate, who is willing to pressure foreign nations to dig up dirt on his political opponents, and who was the subject of a nearly 500-page report by a special counsel offering a portrait that was damning and went unrefuted."

  15. So, now after realizing, he was never even considered for Time magazine's Person of the Year, Trump verbally attacks Greta Thunberg on Twitter.
Question..where is Melania Trump? Wasn't she working on a cyberbullying against children campaign? Why don't you start with your own husband, Melania?

I agree that what Trump did was inappropriate. Wrong even. But serious enough to be removed from office? Not even close.

It’s been said that the president’s followers constitute a cult. 63 million people would be a religion not a cult.

But his real power is not over his supporters but rather his enemies. Their hatred of him is so intense that it has them totally off their game.

He’s gonna turn impeachment into a Democrat loss and beat them over the head with it so often they’re gonna wish they never heard the term.

Censure would’ve been the smarter move.
