I just heard over the classic rock radio station I listen to anounce that Roger Waters (forgive me if I'm wrong on the name) of Pink Floyd is releasing a new album coming within the year. Supposively the topics of many of his new songs will be directed towards politics. Anyone else hear or know anything of this?
Ya I've heard this, but thanks a million none the less friend. I (think) i've heard a few tracks off of this upcoming album.... they were alright. He was dominantly bashing Americans for allowing our elected officials to carry out such things, as well as bashing british gov't for supporting it. That really bothered me because over half of the American population wants nothing to do with our current leaders. I don't much care for Waters, yes he was the driving force in Pink Floyd after Barrett left... but he's a pretentious cock who thinks he's some sort of genious artist. I think he was also a major force in stifling the wonder that is Pink Floyd in their later days. Fuck em.
could be "To Kill The Child" and "Leaving Beirut"? This songs published 7 September 2004 on internet by Waters. There is not any album content. Click the http://www.roger-waters.com/ link... And then download it. "When I was 17 my Mother bless her heart fulfilled my summer dream she handed me the keys to the car We motored down to Paris fuelled with Dexedrine and booze got busted in Antibes by the cops and fleeced in Naples by the wops but everyone was good to us we were the English Judes Our Dads had helped them win the war when we all knew what we were fighting for but now an Englishman abroad is just a U.S. stooge the bulldog is a poodle... America, America please hear us when we call you got hip hop... be bop hustle, bustle you've got Adicus Finch you've got Jane Russell you've got freedom of speech you've got great beaches, wilderness's and malls don't let the might of the Christian right fuck it all up for you and the rest of the world!" by Roger Waters...
