Wow! The media has done a great job of distorting facts. Trump can be an ass sometimes, but the facts of current US success is amazing. What do you want in a President? Everything you talk about is about YOU. There are a few more million of us and we don't always get what we want either.

Huh. Well, I dont watch either of those networks, so not sure where you're going. Obviously, you do watch them, so I'll take your word for it. I mean, it's not like you'd slam networks you've never watched...right?

Also, the mainstream media is held accountable by the bane of the right wing, those scary "regulations." Yup. The mainstream media can't just say absolute nonsense. They are subject to fact checking, multiple sources, and if they do get it wrong they have to issue a retraction. Give me 1 good reason not to trust them.

Also, I dont watch cable or satellite. Sorry, if it's not You Tube, Hulu, Prime, Netflex, Disney+, I'm struggling to comprehend why anyone is watching it. So, CNN...MSNBC...the networks who hate the best presidential candidate running?

What current success are you talking about? The economy? The economy is growing at about the same rate as in Obama’s last years, and unemployment, while lowerer under Trump, is continuing the same trend. But in other areas, Trump’s record does not look as rosy.

What do I want in a president? Integrity, honesty,somebody who upholds the Constitution and the rule of law, puts national interest above personal interest, a uniter instead of a divider, a person who commands respect at home and abroad, a person who understands the complex facts of domestic and international politics, someone who shows compassion and admits mistakes--someone who is the opposite of Trump.

 

All that money spent on TV time is better spent on the poor. He is not getting nominated if he cared he would be the change and just donate. He seems like a nice man and he disproved the whole right wing idea that if you are liberal you hate money. I wish he would get farther.

The anyone but Trump movement will fail.

Trump will beat any woman or man candidate put in front of him.

All the candidates battling for the top spot seem to be in some way or another ill-armed politically with a correct extinguisher to put out Trump flames.

Trump will win and it won't even be close.

So Trump brings out the worst in people? No argument from me.

 

Most of their expressions have been childish. But I doubt it's the worst we'll be seeing from them.

 

He's the one responsible for bringing it to this level.

 

His followers don't help with all of their name calling, either. Or the racism he has done nothing to quell that's actually leading to real violence.

Oh there was plenty of this shit coming from all directions. Trump only stoked what was already smoldering. Democrats grew accustomed to the backhanded, covert bullshit from the republicans and were gobsmacked by a "republican" who dared to get in their faces with their own shit.

He has been the perfect lightning rod for bringing the freaks out of the woodwork. His playbook is something nobody in Washington was ready for which was made obvious by the uselessness of the infamous "Clinton Machine" as Hillary attempted to use Bill's original plan. But then, Bill's 92 primary was a studio show with 3 senators and a governor supposedly challenging him (and not even taking their home states, particularly bad for Jerry Brown).

What we didn't have in 92 though was Clinton's minions calling GHW Bush a "nazi" or "Hitler" or any of the other childish shit tossed around like skittles these days. Clinton beat Bush in a totally fair and square match making him a single-term failure overall. And Clinton didn't have to break a sweat because he had a firm grasp on everything Bush lacked. Bush liked to hide in the background and call the shots via his creepy CIA connections.

Also, the people doing all this shit are adults, Trump didn't drive them to make fools of themselves (though I think Kathy Griffin got a bad rap). That was already part of their repertoire.

 

No, you're wrong. It all began with Trump and his snide, underhanded comments. Of course people lost their cool here and there. But until Trump we weren't having people on stage talking about low energy and small hands. He brought it to this level.

He is extremely immature and anyone who denies that needs to have their heads examined.
