    I treasure
    The bits of you
    Left under my nails
    After I scrached your back
    And this leaves me feeling
    Demented
What have you become of me?
    Untamed, desperate
    All the clinging attempts I've
    made at you
    Are vunerable only to be
    Promptly, so precisley
    So politely, so cleanly
    Deleted.
    If I could I would
I would burn you all away
    With shakes of a bottle
And a scrape of my lighter
    From my head and dreams
In passion and fury and finale
Since when was I such an arsonist?

I have become of such decomposure
    That I slither
    I'm legless
On the grounds of my own inside
    I've been truly dismantled
    By a phantom whirlwind
    -the apple of my eye-
    Which quite literally
    Took my legs
    I'm a horrible warning
An example for all to see
Hanging from my wrists on the washing line
    But I fear, I shan't dry

    I think, quite rightly
That potatos will grow on trees
Before you give me back my legs again
    Isn't it?
The pigs are like clouds in my sky,
    As I said, I'm legless
I've already surcumed to so many forevers
Forevers are all I've ever managed to be.

crumbs, this seems to have a lot of hidden darkness in it. is the person literally legless or drunk legless? kind of sounds like a murderer who's burnt off her/his legs and set someone alight....not sure though. very very powerful.
