Just woke up after having to get up at 6 am to the delivery man with my groceries. Went back to bed.

I'm watching a movie, The Hospital (1971).

It's a must see folks, a dark comedy (very dark) that presents a terrifying portrayal of hospital care in the age of bureaucratic incompetency. Most of the complaints in the movie have been mitigated by regulations, but not all of them!

 

jesus, i thought grocery delivery was supposed to be a convenience. i'd rather go do it myself than wake up at 6.

 

When you don't have a car you don't want to be travelling or walking to the nearest supermarket getting it home delivered is ok.
I don't like going into the supermarket myself most of the time. It's too noisy for me.
Sometimes it stinks in there too.
Also my local one down the road is expensive.

 

10mins of my meal break left, then 2hrs work and then home and get ready for pool.

 

Just came back from a walk to the local chemist.
Damn it's so humid that i'm sweating like a pig.
The air conditioner is on to keep me cool

 

Just reading through, and drinking my tea.

Finishing up my last hour at work.

 

well i'm not out of anything else, but it seems i've run out of trash can liners, and i don't really have a good substitute for them.
while i'm at the store i'll probably get some other goodies, and hope i don't forget the one reason i'm actually going.

 

Needed to 'pop down the road' earlier today and was in the vicinity of my lovely pie shop Candy darlin' - purchased a couple of pies for my lunch, they were delicious too, and sitting on a little side table beside me is a lovely cherry pie (getting jealous Candy darlin' ???) which I'll eat for 'tea' later this afternoon.

 

Yes I am. lol
