I like Oasis....but they can be egotistical. They were fantastic when they came on the scene.

 

why would they say that? Liam and Noel Gallagher are the biggest fans of The Beatles, Liam even named his son Lennon.

 

You mean biggest fan of the beatles.... It was in responce to them being compared to the beatles all the time... My jaw dropped when they said it on MTV

When I picked up guitar they were the band that helped me learn to play. Learning all the chords to their stuff. I really loved them when I was about 12 and 13.

 

Yeah, their old stuff is fucking amazing... What's the Story, Morning Glory also helped me immensely when I picked up the guitar. "Wonderwall" was the first song I was able to sing and play, and the first song I played for someone..

 

Nothing.. nothing at all but they are dissing the band they are inspired by... thats whats wrong

They called the beatles eleator music in an interview.... So in tern they are calling themself elevator music. duh!

 

Liam also said shit about George "not being talented at all" in an interview, many years ago.

 

we all say slip of the tounge things that sound stupid at early stages in our lives .would like to ask liam those questions now " i think he might admit he was wrong " in those interviews........like to think so anyway..../peace/

Yeah, that was back in 95 I believe, after Morning Glory came out... he apologized after George passed away.
