Can someone tell me what a rising sign and moon sign are...I'm not to sure and i read in a past thread that their also important. Thanks!
Ascendant, or rising sign is the sign appearing on the celestial horizon at your moment of birth. The moon sign is determined by the position of the moon when you were born.There are places online to get free charts done. I go to Astro.com
You will need to know your place of birth and the time you were born. There's some great books that make it quite easy to do as well...ones a bit oversized and purple ("The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" by Joanna Martine Woolfolk) and you can find it in any bookstore new or used usually. The acending or rising sign reflects your outward personality and if you ever wondered why you vary from your dun sign, you may find the missing parts in there.
