I would imagine that a "honkey tonk" sound would be more countrified

I'm mad about The Beatles, they're my favorite band. Ever. My favorite Beatle is George, I love him so much. I have so many favorite songs by them, I could never choose. My favorite album however, is Abbey Road.

I never really liked "Why don't we do it in the road" all that much.
It's pretty weak by Beatles standards imo
"Octopus's Garden" has never done much for me either.. (sorry Ringo)

I think the style of music that would best describe "O-bla de o-bla da" would be "English Music Hall" from the early part of the 20th century.

My favourite Beatle would be John..
Favourite song(s) "I Am The Walrus". "Penny Lane" , Strawberry Fields", The medley on side 2 of Abbey Rd. , "Rain" , "She Said" and on and on and on and on...
    Favourite album "Pepper"

I prefer the version of Obladi Oblada on the anthology. This is a fantastic song that is just another shocase for McCartney's ability to turn his hand to anything.

Ringo is the most talented beatle and one of the best drumers on the world to date. His song writing abilities are fantastic as well. I salute you ringo.

On a more serious note, i have to say that i do love the beatles, but a lot of there stuff isnt that great. I have to say that i prefer the stones.

Btw blindhobosam, you have some serious homework if you dont know who the beatles are.

I LOVE the Beatles! Id have to say John is my favorite. Dont care for Paul as much though. I think all their stuff, plus some of Johns solo work is some of the best music ever made.

Hm, I cant say there is a bad Betales song. There are few I dont like as much as I like others, but I cant say they are bad. I like so many of their songs - In my life, Ive just seen a face, Im only sleeping, Lucy in the sky with diamonds,Strawberry fields, etc

My favorite album is "Rubber Soul", although some of my favorite songs finished on "Help"... Of course my favorite beatl is John.

Today I was speaking with my friend about the beatles. And we didnt agree with who wrote the song "I'm only sleeping" (which we both think it's amazing one - specialy in the morning;)). So, who actually wrote this great song?

John of course. The one who sings the song has written it.

Except in some cases... "Do You Want To Know A Secret" is sung by George, and is credited to Lennon/McCartney.
