    I was listening to some of the synthesizers from this track earlier... they played it on satellite radio, and actually I was surprised. Oakenfold is pretty much eclipsed by more recent artists on their channel. Anyway, I like the sound of that track! :)

    He was the first live DJ that I ever rolled to. They were fairly mild pills but still a good introduction given the setting sun at Cochella and him being one of the formative Dj's of the Rave Movement, which I was unaware of at the time. I saw him a few years ago as well, I was Candyflipping and he played a much deeper trance set, less commerical stuff, which was good for my headspace but it also seemed like he didn't have quite the same following as at that Cochella set.

    I rolled with him once! :) At Red Rocks in Colorado when the dinosaurs roamed the earth! Lol... It was a long time ago. The year 2000. Anyway, we took pills and finally decided that we should all (there were myself, jimmy, rusty, ken, jen, jimmy's sister and kira) there must have been 7 of us unless I'm remembering it wrong. And anyway, Ken, who was 37 at that time, through a stellar afterparty! There was soo much shit! A fucking tiny little hill of coke, someone had brought k, and it was too much for me. I performed badly in that environment. I wasn't good at parties then; I would be now, but then I was just 20 and emotionally charged, confused, and scared. I was also a junkie, but they didn't know that really because once in Colorado, needles weren't really around.

    I only raved on K when the Dubstep thing got started in the US. I didn't find it all that successful and plus people jacked my shit. I much prefer that in a low key environment.

    Yea... we were at an after party. He had a loft! It was really swanky. I remember he had this plant with a light in it or something. I thought that was sooo clever.

    I have done k at raves but it was lame. I didn't like it. You get all dumb, and then later you have to drive and it sucks. I got pulled over this one time. I stuffed a bullet (some device that you use to sniff k or blow or whatever) in my shoe. He didn't search me; I can't imagine why not. I was speeding or something and it was some obscene hour of the morning. I put that thing in my shoe and could barely speak correctly I was so scared. I was freaking out. He must have known. But anyway I got away that time.

    This is a bullet if you don't know.

    Apparently I didn't know, I didn't think it was a device, I thought it was lining up the k in a like a small pile as opposed to laying it out in a line.

    @mysticblu21 I liked this one when I was a kid...around '78 or '79 I think.

    I am currently listening to Bluegrass and just happen to be watching a documentary about inbred West Virginian coal miners who are on welfare.
