no one likes rap...but you might have listened to it....

Im not a fan of rap, as im sure a lot of you arnt either. But i am a fan of bone thugs n harmony....wondering if anyone did have any rap they liked?!

I like eminem, Dr dre, snoop, ice cube, Twista, Bone Thugs is good, Tupac, DMX is ok sometimes...I like rap. If it has a good beat and lyrics i can stand then I'll listen to it.

 

yeah i guess, but very little i can stand. Bone thugs( most of there stuff, especially, with bizzy bone) is so chill, and they way he raps is just amazing to me. Twista is good too, i just love to hear him rap so freaken fast, haha, but the rest of those guys, im not too hot about.

Only rap I'm really into is Wu-Tang

 

i think the only rap i can stand is the streets, but that's not exactly normal rap...i dont really know what it is. im no good at classing music

 

the beastie boys.

 

Some stuff like the Beastie Boys, Wu-Tang, or Run DMC is ok to me. I own a copy of the Grey Album, the vocals from the Black Album(Jay-Z) and the beats from the White Album(Beatles), its a helluva lot better than I thought it would be.

The Roots, Tribe Called Quest (they are getting back together), Blackalicious, Jurassic 5, early Snoop, Outkast, Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-1, Mos Def, man there are so many. I am curious as to if most of yall don't like hip-hop or if you don't like commerical rap, there is a big difference between the two. There is all kinds of good underground intelligent hip hop out there, you just got to look around for it (if that is your taste of course).

 

I like Public Enemy a lot.

Definitely the only ones I can stand are Bone Thugs and Snoop... though Snoop has been annoying the hell out of me lately.

 

I like rap. Guess I'm not hippy enough.

 

K-OS, if he counts as rap. He actually gets creative with it, and uses jazz and blues stuff, with awesome bass lines. I love it.

 

Only one person has mentioned Cypress Hill so far! How can you be a stoner and not like 'Black Sunday'? What a kick ass album! And has anybody else heard the Wyclef Jean/Kenny Rogers song? It's fucking awesome!

I guess that seems like a lot but I have nearly 4000 other songs so it isn't much comapred to my rock and classic rock collection.
