There is a girl I really want to get through to this Valentine's day. She has been having relationship troubles lately, and just recently broke up with her boyfriend. I don't think she is completely over her relationship, so I don't know if this would be bad timing.I don't know if by expressing my love to her, I would be adding more of a burden during her difficult relationship with her x boyfriend, that just ended last week. I'm almost positive she knows I'm interested in her, but I just think she is confused right now. We get along great as friends, and my intuition tells me that she is atleast alittle interested in me. Our signs are compatible and all that stuff, I mean it seems almost meant to be. My idea is to write a poem that will blow her mind and rock her world. Something that no other guy has ever done for her and ever could have done.A Valentine's day present that she would never forget. If any ladies or gents out there have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated Peace
Poetry can be very romantic and captivating, yet sometimes too "cheesy" or sappy. Although most women do enjoy men expressing their feelings and emotions. I think if you hit the spot with a poem, she is in a vulnerable position and you might be exactly what shes looking for. All im saying is dont try and win her over with your "charm", win her over with how you really do feel. if this helps, great.... Jessica
dammit! this site was wrong, then! http://www.getgirls.com/tips309.htm lol... man that site's some cheese in all actuality, though... you won't necessarily "win" her heart, but it will let her know how you feel, and maybe open a door. I guess it'd depend on the girl, too. The ladies are all different, some like the sweet promises of eternal love, others will think it presumptuous, and others will get pissed off that you never said anything before. Maybe a lighthearted "you kick ass because..." poem would be a safer route given her situation. Were it me, I'd just sympathize with her, perhaps ask her to dinner so she's not alone and dwelling on her ex.
to write words to let the girls heart know is a beautiful way to express feelings... like many poets song writers love is a wonderful word to put on paper.... yet to love in life is to be aware. of each others feelings to be whole as a person and in a relationship........... yet.. love can not be forced if it flows free from this girl then you will know the answer to your question.......... you will know if your words are needed... love n peace from saff i would write out the words joan of arc by leonard cohen...................even play this .... this is love.letting all go for your beliefs........ sorry going on a bit there you know what is needed really........
It could, or it could backfire, but that's the chance you take. I've seen both. When I was making a last-ditch attempt to get through to one who had broken it off with me, or at least make the memories better, I wrote a poem that covered four or five pages and send it to her for Valentine's Day, nicely bound, with a little verse in the heart on the front explaining it. Her reaction was embarrassment that I had almost total recall of our time together, and she said she hoped she never again dated someone with a "photographic memory."
Here's one of the lines I still remember: She commented, as she prepared to leave, That if my apartment were clean, I could have invited a lady inside. My thoughts were, "I know what you mean."
as a friend maybe you are compatible if she wants to get back together with her x how would you feel then love hurts like hell. If she is into you she will let you know in her own way in her own time. she needs hope and time and hope needs a friend you are her friend let her know that no matter what happens time and -pain will pass and leave, you will not james
Ok this is what I have so far, I mean even if I don't send this to her for valentine's day I could send it later. We both live in a world where nothing is like it seems I think you’re the only one who says what she means Through the dark caverns of love we search for light Finding the only ones we can trust to treat us right A journey through endless battles of our soul A toll to support what could fulfill the infinite hole While the soul completes, I enjoy the ride To discover one another and whoever is brought through the tide As we travel and unravel the blueprint of peace We realize that the others only want their piece To take on the world with an iron fist Or to take on with love and show society a twist Let’s take them by surprise with a unified power Show them your beautiful eyes and you will make the rulers cower You could make them holler and make them scream Show them how to live and be the commander of their dreams You’re the only way out and the only way in More than another friend and closer than kin Much more valuable than a statue made of gold There is no other person to fit your mold Compatible, collateral, if you could always be beside A feeling no concealing and no place to hide When she is away she is my poison and life just isn’t fare When she is there its time for healing through her love and care She is the angel from above and I understand her worth When she enters my presence she brings heaven to earth
There's really only one way to find out. Any advice we give beyond sharing our own experiences would be presumptuous, because only you know enough about her to make that call. Maybe someone who knows both of you could give an objective opinion, if you know someone you'd be comfortable discussing it with.
