dont you ever hear a song and think its something else at first cause the intro is almost the same. i think blondies "heart of glass" intro sounds like queens "i want to break free" intro, just the first couple of seconds. anyone got anymore intros that sound the same?

The very first note of Metallica's Sanitarium sounds like Guns N Roses's November Rain's first note. I know that doesn't sound significant but it's a note that's held long and not usaully in the begining of a song.
I encounter that kinda thing all the time... that's the only one I can thinmk of though...

Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit" and "More Than A Feeling" (Boston) both have a strikingly similar guitar riff in the beginning.

Funky Town and Sunshine Of Your Love, when hummed, sound so familiar. Thats just the intros, of course...

beatles while my guitar gently weeps, and Janis Joplins Kozmic Blues. Not to mention the Dear Prudence riff that appears in several songs by other artists.
