Something that makes you feel old

This is mainly for 30 and up but you kids can post too if you feel wise beyond your years.

THINGS THAT MADE ME FEEL OLD

1. Overheard a kid say, "Who's Luke Skywalker?"
2. Realized I consider any U2 after 1990 "New"
3. Was asked "Whats an 8 Track?"
4. Keep seeing CD's I own in Bargain Racks.

 

5. they play nirvana and soundgarden on the "classic rock" stations

i know i will think of more but this was the first one i thought of...lol

 

And Aerosmith on "oldies" stations!

 

80's music makes me feel old..

 

Remembering the days before video games existed.

 

t-shirts with images of My little pony or the Smurfs being refered as vintage...

i'm 32, and sadly i must report i can no longer maintain a five-hour erection. sad but true...

 

take your vitamins..........I'm 40 and can go longer than ever.......

finding out last year that my grade 12 girlfriend is a grandma...................and when I hear songs that I felt were 'after' my party years, and thus newer, on the electric lunch......

 

going to a local night club and realising that the adult standing next to you was about five when you first started going there

I remember watching Hank Aaron playing baseball, Gordie Howe play hockey and the NBA pre-Mike, and McDonalds ads saying feed your whole family for 5 dollars and get change back. It is ten just to feed me now.

I actually saw the Neil Armstrong moon thing on black and white tv, live, when I was about 5. I remember when Honda cars were a new thing, it was rare to see one.

 

um.. looking at my skin and my ass.
